Delicious, crisp schnitzels and lovely interior decor, the atmosphere and ambience are very nice. I ordered the hollandaise schnitzel and would recommend it to a friend.

The schnitzel tasted better than expected and I went in with high expectations. Portion sizes are large, and prices are pretty low for what you get - from memory €13.90 in March 2024 for a large schnitzel, a good serving of potato chips/croquettes, and a tasty salad. Only nitpick is - would have loved more sauce.

The best Schnitzel I‘ve ever eaten!! I was really surprised because of the size!! And It was really hot when I reserved it🔥 I visited there in April. If I go to Göttingen again, I wanna visit there again.

Authentic German food with great portion size and even better taste. The place feels amazingly comfy and their staff is very friendly and congenial. If you want to go there on Friday evening or on weekends then I recommend to reserve your table beforehand as the place is very busy during these days. I would recommend their Spare ribs anyday. The salad served alongside with the food is fantastic as well. They even accept payment by cards which is quiet nice.

Very big portions of delicious food, located in the middle of Göttingen. Service is very good and the restaurant is very clean. All at a very reasonable price - considering the big portions. Would definitely recommend.

One of those old school places that has stood the test of time. The building and the interior has an unbeatable old time charm.

Food is absolutely delicious, with schnitzel being the obvious choice. Portions are massive; and the price to quality+quality ratio is incredibly good!

We came as a group of two. Both of us were very hungry. My colleague took the schnitzel, and I took the haxe with pickled cabbage and braised potatoes. Both of us were very happy with our dishes.

Totally love it. The atmosphere was awesome the food...was so brilliant. Pork, pork nuckle, steak....and salad and the side dishes.... The most important!! Two beers two main dishes, in total 25 euros.... Thats the least i expected from this restaurant if one day i go back to gottingen, this place will be a reason for sure

If you can only have one meal in Göttingen this is the place you need to go. Their schnitzels are (and have always been) the best you can find anywhere. They also have now some nice meat plates that look delicious since the meat is roasted outside. Super nice staff and you should book the place because it is always full

A "must" when you travel to Göttingen. A beautiful old historical town house with a cousy atmosphere. Fast service for drinks and food! Delicious big "Schnitzel" for a very fair price. One of my favourite places for dining in Göttingen!
