Beautiful town with a decent motorhome stellplatz on the river bank a short walk from the old town

Definitely a must for families, catch up gathering, a nice day visit with lovers. Beware of the Market Day only run every 8 weeks. Don't miss the flammkuchen in those local restaurant. They are yummy 😋 n great idea as an refreshment or beer break between meals.

The gold autumn in the beautiful town. I think it's the most amazing place in the whole Germany! This little town is surrounded by the ancient wall with built into it pretty houses. You will snorkel into amazing design and atmosphere in this wonderful place.

Must visit place with family

A lovely piece of the authentic city wall of Ahrweiler. The start leading into the city centre is full of classic German architecture. It's a really nice place.

There is the southern city gate, consisting of the powerful gate tower and two round barbicans, was built in 1297. Quite powerful fortified gateway.

Es wirkt unscheinbar, aber das Ahrtor hat eine bewegte Geschichte hinter sich. Vor der Flut war alles drumherum schön hergerichtet, aktuell befindet sich davor eine größere Baustelle. Mal sehen ob es zu alten Glanz wieder-kehrt. Das Ahrtor bedeutet für mich Tor zur Heimat. Gute Abende beginnen mit dem Eintritt ins Ahrtor.

Immer wieder verweile ich gerne an verschiedenen Stellen in und um Dernau und Ahrweiler. Leider sind noch immer massive Schäden von der Flut 2021 vorhanden. Es ist bedrückend, zu sehen, daß nach 2 Jahren, den Menschen vor Ort die Hilfe fehlt. In den Weinbergen zu wandern ist dennnoch einfach erholend

Tor in ein schönes Städtchen, läd zum verweilen eine. Zahlreiche Gaststätten und Geschäfte.
Leider sind immer noch die Schäden des Hochwasseres zu erkennen.

Starówka, otoczona murami obronnymi na które można wejść, również na baszty. W pobliżu jedna z największych winnic ( 530h) oraz ciekawa ścianka wspinaczkowa.Malownicze miasteczko w którym jest zaskakująco mało przejść dla pieszych

Eigentlich eine sehr schöne, alte Stadt. Leider noch viel vom Hochwasser zerstört und noch nicht aufgebaut. Geht vielleicht auch nicht. Keine Entspannte Atmosphäre. Alle waren irgendwie angespannt. Interessant, aber Schade.
