In the last year I ordered five packages from them. Everytime order had a lot of small parts and things included, everytime the package was delivered from Germany to Austria in very reasonable time (quicker that most of the Austrian shops lol). Placing order with 20 random things on Friday afternoon and having it shipped on the same day is normal thing here. All Jealous AL MTBs I was interested in were unavailable during the better part of 2021 and one after the other appeared as sold out, with the exception of the Jealous AL 10 SL, which is of a higher category than what I was initially aiming for. When it was finally availably I purchased it straight away.

Apparently, the money was extracted twice from my account in a matter of a few days although Bike-Discount's finance department assured me that one extraction was only a reservation and would be returned soon, which it was. The bike arrived after 8 days in Catalonia (which I consider fast) and everything is fine except for the remote lock of the fork, which doesn't lock. I guess it's only due to the cable being slightly too long and don't think it will be hard to fix.

I've only ridden the Jealous once so far on a rather untechnical 40km trip of forest roads with about 1.100m of height difference. The 52 teeth rear in combination with 32 teeth in the front do for similar climbing capabilities as my previous 3x10, but without all the bulk of a front derailleur mechanism that has caused me multiple "chainfeed" incidents, and thus broken chains during the last years. The Jealous runs VERY smoothly and doesn't produce any rattling sounds whatsoever. The tyres are very fast too. In terms of wheight I was not blown away but of course, there is a more than conceivalble difference between my Cube of 8 years that only cost half the money and this black jewel.

The longest gear (of 12) is obviously not as fast as the one on my previous bike, but since I try to avoid tarmac whenever I can, I accept that happily. It's a MTB after all.

4 stars because of my heart attack when the money was extracted a second time (Bike Discount will say it wasn't, but for me it appeared like that) and the fork's remote lock not working properly. The purchase experience has not been perfect but still very good. All my mails got a prompt reply, which is a positive aspect that should not be left unmentioned either.

Half a year an 1200km later, it's time for an update. The aforementioned problem with the fork's remote lock had an easy fix. Apart from a loss of pressure in the rear brake I have not detected any problems whatsoever. My mechanic needed two attempts to purge all the air from the rear brake's circuit, but once this was accomplished it has worked well ever since.
I'll change my initial 4 stars rating to 5, because I had already forgotten about the fact that there had been an issue with the money when I bought my bike. I am a happy customer, after all, and would recommend both Bike Discount as well as Jealous AL 10. The bike does everything it should and quite well so.

I ordered some more parts for my bike at like 10 in the evening, the next day at 8 i got an email that my order is packed. My previous first order for a wheel set+cassette was done on Wednesdays evening, i had it on Friday morning while i life on the opposite site of Germany.

What i really really liked: they didn't pack the cassette into a new box and shipped it separately, they just opened the wheel set's box and wrapped it very nicely with foil so it wouldn't damage anything. That reduced the packaging waste and made sure both items arrive on the same day, bravo!
