Wörlitzer Park

Great park for walking, having a picnic or just to rest by a water body. There is parking for 5 euros. And a small eatout and restroom.

Pretty awesome place! We didn't have enough time to go through the whole park but we will for sure come back once my boy is older and he can enjoy it more. The boat ride is for sure recommend!

This place is excellent for a stroll and a relaxing morning or afternoon. We chose to do a gondola ride instead of a castle tour and it was probably the best choice. Our gondola guide claimed to not know much English but he gave a very knowledgeable and fantastic overview of the space, the history, and the bridges' designs in English so I would say he speaks very well! It was relaxing, and I would highly recommend this place for a tourist who is a little tired of the usual castles and cathedrals and world war 2 stops.

The park is just amazing! The water bodies, greenery, peacocks, grapevines and wildflowers make it a magical place to spend a whole day in. But make sure to catch the last bus that leaves Wörlitz at around 6 if you're using public transport. Must visit 10/10

Such a great day out. We were there on a sunny Sunday and we had an amazing day out. It is very beautiful and the there are so many paths you can take and explore.

What can I say! Living in Berlin for 63 years and I have never been to Wörlitz before!
Now I see what I have missed! What a beautiful place where you can spend much more than just a few hours! The status of UNESCO world heritage is well deserved!
I'd highly recommend getting some information about the time when Wörlitz was designed as a brilliant example of what the age of Enlightenment means.
Will go back for sure!

A wonderful park... magnificent nature and view from the lake... uncrowded at the time but very touristic at summer...

The wonderful Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz is an enjoyable place for a nice walk or bike ride.

Massive beautiful gardens. The boat ride was a great way to see a lot of the park.

Very well kept and huge park full of little monuments. It's an amazing place to just stroll and take in the fluent mix of nature and culture.

Best of Garden Architecture and best food in Wörlitz. Unfortunaly, there was only little water in the lakes, after the very dry sumner in europe.

Love it. Just add public toilets and places to change diapers for babies.

Absolutely stunning gardens, fabulous regency buildings add to the charm of the park with plenty of ruins for the children to explore safely. A must see for a relaxing family day out.

Beautifull landscape and some good restaurants

Most beautiful, romantic historical Park of its period in Germany. Fantastic integration of landscape,water, flowers,wilderness, islands, chateaux and romantic caves into a garden that deserves to be world Heritage

Lovely gardens a must see

We were headed home from Rügen by way of Usedom and stopped here after having been caught up in no less than seven traffic jams ... we used the bathrooms, grabbed cake and coffee before walking around the lake ready to charge on.
