Apartments Bonn-am-Schloss

We had a wonderful four months in apartment 3. The apartment was very comfortable, clean, in perfect condition and our landlord Markus was very kind and attentive. Everything we needed for a longer stay was there. We warmly recommend this apartment, which is located in a lovely neighborhood and near the city center of Bonn.

I had the pleasure of living in apartment 1 for one month and apartment 2 for three months. Both were beautifully maintained and ideal for my needs. Apartment 1 was exceptionally beautiful, with lots of natural light and a rooftop terrace, but apartment 2 also had its charms with access to the private back garden and patio. The neighborhood is also unbeatable! The landlord was friendly and helpful and was always quick to answer my emails and requests. I would recommend this apartment to anyone planning an extended visit to Bonn, and I would definitely stay at Bonn am Schloss again.

I highly recommend the Bonn Am Schloss apartment to those visiting Bonn. We have used the apartment on two occasions and we have always been very satisfied with the experience. The apartment is modern, clean and offers all amenities needed. Additionally, it is very well situated in Bonn; it is in close proximity to the center, easy access to bus and tram routes, near grocery stores and bakeries but also located on a beautiful and very quiet street. The hosts are communicative and hospitable and we've always had a very positive experience.

I had a pleasant four-week stay in Apartment 2. Before my stay, the owner responded quickly to all of my emails. The apartment was clean and had everything I needed, including a fully equipped kitchen. The place is just a short walk from the city center.

I loved the one bedroom apartment I stayed at at the Bonn Am Schloss. It was large, clean, airy and modern. It had all the facilities, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a bath tub and a shower stall (great for people with young children). It was quiet and the location was beautiful, very close to the botanical gardens. I went for runs around the area almost every other day. It took me about 10 minutes to get to the Rhine running. I biked everywhere and when I chose I could get myself to the train station or bus stand in about 10 minutes walking. There were two conveniently located grocery stores also within walking distance. Markus and Dina were wonderful hosts. They helped me get set up and gave me advise as needed about where to go to eat, how to get around, what to see. In fact in the last night i went for a terrific meal to a french bistro two blocks down from the apartment at Dina's recommendation. Memorable meal. The only downside was that internet wasnt great. But that was the problem of not having a friendly enough personal computer to take a cable, in which case I would have had very good service I am sure. This is a very recommended place. I am going back to Bonn for another meeting in May and am already in conversation with Markus to see if he can fit me in.

I highly, highly recommend Bonn-am-Schloß! My wife and I have stayed at Bonn-am-Schloß not once but many times in the past five years, and we have stayed in each of the apartments. We thoroughly enjoyed each of our stays, and the hosts, Dina and Markus, are wonderful and helpful. All the apartments have modern furnishings, stylish bathrooms, and sleek, functional kitchens. And, all are quiet. The stylish garret apartment has a remarkable 360-degree view of the city from its rooftop terrace. The large basement apartment is spacious. And the smaller basement apartment has access to a lovely garden, a perfect spot for morning coffee or a late-afternoon glass of wine. The building itself is nestled in a beautiful historic neighborhood of extraordinary turn-of-the-century townhouses. A grocery store, several restaurants, and the botanical garden lie within a block or two, and even more amenities lie a mere 5-minute walk away in Poppelsdorf: bakeries, gelaterias, grocery stores, shops, bars and restaurants. Public transportation (bus and streetcar) are also easily accessible.

I have recently spent 10 days in there and had an amazing time. It is probably (by far) the best place one can find for the price. The room is modern and really lovely -- it was certainly much better than the last hotel I stayed in. The location is great, close to downtown and grocery shops. The landlord was very kind and helpful as well. I recommend this to anyone visiting Bonn and I would definitely stay there again!

L’appartement 2 est situé côté jardin de la maison et ce côté jardin lui confère l’atmosphère, le calme, l’air pur, propre à ce jardin biologique. Son emplacement est très facile d’accès depuis le centre de Bonn. L’ameublement, de très bon goût, est joli et d’un style moderne.

J’ai particulièrement apprécié le calme, l’air pur, le jardin biologique ainsi que la propreté, mais aussi l’hygiène irréprochables maintenus durant tout mon séjour d'un an dans cet appartement 2.

J’ai entretenu avec mes bailleurs des rapports très aimables, amicaux, et chaleureux.

Je recommande cet appartement sans aucune hésitation.

Das Apartment 1 im Bonn-am-Schloss war der perfekte Ort für meinen Aufenthalt über sieben Monate in Bonn. Freundliche, hilfsbereite Vermieter, ein schönes, helles Apartment und eine fantastische Lage im schönsten Viertel von Bonn. Das Highlight ist die grosse Dachterrasse mit Blick auf die Stadt Bonn und den Botanischen Garten. Lebensmittelgeschäft ist um die Ecke und man ist schnell am Hauptbahnhof. Ich kann Bonn-am-Schloss uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Die beste Adresse für möbliertes Wohnen!

Wir haben übergangsweise für einen Zeitraum von 4 Monaten in der Wohnung am Schloss gewohnt und es war super! Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht und sollte doch noch etwas fehlen, kann man sich jederzeit an die Vermieter wenden und es wird sich umgehend darum gekümmert. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Super war auch, dass wir so viel Stellplatz für Fahrräder und Kinderwagen hatten und unsere kleine Tochter bei heißen Temperaturen im kühlen Innenhof spielen konnte. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort wohnen und eine 100%ige Weiterempfehlung geben. Durch die Größe der Wohnung war es für uns mit einem Kleinkind (1,5Jahre) auch komfortabel, trotz der "nur" 2 Zimmer.

Ich kann Apartment 2 sehr empfehlen, habe hier für 6,5 Monate gewohnt. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und bei Fragen und Wünschen stets sofort zur Stelle. Man kann hier für eine Übergangszeit perfekt wohnen, die Wohnung ist vollmöbliert, mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht (eine Waschmaschine wäre noch gut, aber der Waschsalon ist in 5 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar) und bietet mit der Terrasse im Sommer einen schönen und idyllischen Ort zum Entspannen in Bestlage von Bonn im ehemaligen Botschaftsgebäude. Diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in maximal 5 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar und der Botanische Garten sowie das Poppelsdorfer Schloß sind direkt um die Ecke. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir haben 7 Monate in der großen Wohnung gelebt.

Positiv:

Stimmig eingerichtet, alles aufeinander abgestimmt, mit schönen Details. Moderne Kunstdrucke, großes, modernes Badezimmer, große Wohnküche mit Waschmaschine und Geschirrspüler. Man kann sich hier sofort zuhause fühlen, die Einrichtung hat eigenen Charakter und doch wird sie vielen gefallen.

Eine hervorragende Lage sowohl in einem denkmalgeschützten Gebäude als auch in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Botanischen Garten (unmittelbar bedeutet 10 Sekunden Fußweg) und Poppelsdorfer Schloss/Allee, 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu Bahnhof und Bonner Schloss/Universität, 1 Minute zum Autobahnzubringer (von der Autobahn hört man nichts).

Die Vermieter sind ein sehr freundliches Ehepaar, wenn etwas kaputt geht oder sonstige Probleme auftauchen besteht sehr schneller und unkomplizierter Kontakt per SMS oder E-Mail. Sie leben mit jugendlichen Kindern in der Wohnung unmittelbar über der großen Wohnung im Souterrain.

Negativ:
Ob der Preis stimmt, muss jeder für sich entscheiden, die Pro-Argumente stehen oben.

Die Wohnung liegt im Souterrain, was zwei unmittelbare Folgen hat: Sehr wenig natürliches Licht im zum Hof liegenden Wohnzimmer und natürliche Kälte. Beides macht die Wohnung zu einer idealen Sommerwohnung, die auch bei 35 Grad Außentemperatur kaum wärmer als ca. 23 Grad wird. Es macht sie damit aber auch zu einer weniger idealen Winterwohnung.

Das Schlafzimmer liegt (zur sehr ruhigen) Straße hin und auch gleichzeitig schräg unter dem Gebäudeeingang mit vier Etagen. Wer sehr lärmempfindlich ist, mag an vereinzelten Tagen einmal auch später Personen hören, die ihre Lautstärke nicht drosseln, wenn sie nachhause kommen oder bemerkt vereinzelte Geräusche des täglichen Lebens (z. B. Klavierspielen) aus der darüberliegenden Wohnung.
Außerdem liegt das Wohnzimmer zum Treppenabgang der darüberliegenden Wohnung und neben dem Eingang zur Waschküche. Die Vermieter schauen nicht zum Fenster herein, aber ggf. mag es Menschen geben, die absolute Privatsphäre möchten, dann wäre das nichts.

Fazit:
Wer auf sozusagen "gutes Leben" Wert legt, viel Platz in einer schönen und modern eingerichteten Wohnung in einem repräsentativ zu nennenden Haus (ehem. Botschaftsgebäude) nahe am sehr schönen Botanischen Garten und Schloss mit kurzen Wegen in die Innenstadt, freundlichen Vermietern und nicht zu sehr auf die Miete schauen muss ist hier für kurze, aber auch lange Zeit gut aufgehoben.
