Such a welcoming bookstore! Shelves are colorful and filled with goodies. The staff has always been wonderful and so accommodating when I come into browse with my little one. (Not surprisingly, I’ve left this store with armfuls of books for my toddler son. You can find some absolute gems here!) The book exchange for credits is also so great for those us building a library for young readers! Truly my favorite corner of Ramstein.

It’s truly difficult to imagine a better bookshop. The shop is great, with comfortable chairs to sit in and an encouraging mention from the staff that they won’t bother you. The shelves are usually crammed with all sorts of offerings in just about any genre. The staff is - with zero hyperbole - the best bookshop staff I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with. They’re warm people and it’s easy to talk books with them so they can figure out recommendations for your next read if you’re looking for one, but also just because talking books is fun.
They’re collectible section is something I have NEVER seen on a military base bookshop and the prices are more than fair.

The shop is small, but clean and packed with books from just about any genre you could want. They even have collectibles brought over from England by the owner who usually sells them at less than they would go for on eBay or the like. I got a collection of Shakespeare covered in blue leather from 1880 (with an inscription from 1885) for $87.00. That’s not bad at all.

The staff are wonderful people who are more than happy to help you find your next read or talk books.

There’s a wait list you can sign up if they don’t have a book you want.

You can even volunteer there if you want and get compensated in store credit.

If there was ever a bookstore with customer service that makes you feel like you are the number 1 customer, it is this place! The owner pours herself into collecting books both new and old and bringing them from dusty cottages of Europe to the shelves of her store for you to appreciate and collect. She only bringS the finest condition collectible books, like those over 200 years old that look like they have only been read twice. She gives special attention to returning customers, remembering and looking for their specialty books of choice. Not only that, but you actually earn money by buying her books with the best rewards program I have ever seen. If you are looking to start and antique book collection, or even a good condition second hand modern book, look no further than Books Are Magic Ramstein. The real magic of this quaint shop is the fantastic owner and her employees.

This place is an underappreciated gem. You can get some of the most magnificent collectibles at stupidly low prices. I've built my library of must-reads with used classics in nearly new condition and often as low as $2 or $3 a piece. There's daily sales and monthly specials and a loyalty program on top of all that. It's beyond amazing

This store is absolutely lovely! The selection is wonderful and the prices are excellent. You can discover some really neat & unique finds. For example I stumbled across a autographed Chuck Palahniuk the other week. And the antique books! I have a lovely collection of EBB's poems from 1910 amd that's on the young side for what you can get. The staff are super knowledgeable and eager to help. (Seriously, if you're stumped on what to read next, chat with one of them). They also give store credit for popular, gently used titles. Favorite place in the area, hands down.

Great used book store that offers sales often and has a rewards stamp card to make future purchases a little cheaper! The staff is always friendly and helpful so that's a plus!
