Great German food and beer with old Porsche posters in the restaurant for the atmosphere. Yes, only cash payments possible, but the waiter nicely explained how to get to the nearest ATM (5min walk) and it wasn't a problem. No card payments inside the restaurant!

Chanced upon this restaurant here in Stuttgart. Although it is not too far from the hustle and bustle of Schlossplatz, it has a very laid back vibe to wine, dine and chill. A place to visit if you enjoy German good and a great German beer or Riesling. The highlight of the meal has to be the homemade apple cake with vanilla ice cream. It’s something that we have never tried and so amazingly delicious.

This was a neat older-feeling restaurant that only accepts cash, so know that before going or you'll be scrambling for an ATM! The maultaschen was delicious and tender. The braumeisterschnitzel with käsespatzl and fried onions was great. The beers were cold and good, the Sanwald you see everywhere but on draft. I will be back, it was a great meal and restaurant!

The best German restaurant in all of Stuttgart. Went back for first time in over a year and still amazing. The staff is super friendly. It’s a lot of food each dish. They normally come with two snitzel each. Also the dunkel beer here is always great. The dish I posted is 100% my recommendation there every time. But like I said it’s a lot and it’s heavy.

Same crazy night (we just came from Trollinger) with 3 of my friends. So already a different reception. The personal is friendly and kind this night. He already welcomed us and made us feel comfortable from the entrance!The beef schnitzel is wonderful, soft and with a crunchy cover. Feels good to eat this :))) after that awful schnitzel and reception.

We do a brauhaus testing tour around Stuttgart, on the hunt for the best schnitzel. Great food and copious dessert selection. All freshly prepared. I have my favorite brauhaus now. Viva le sanwald!

Really amazing German, specifically traditional Swabian, food. I can highly recommend the “Rahmsauerbraten” and the “Zwiebelrostbraten”. The servers are very friendly and overall you will have a good time here. I always take foreigners or visitors to this restaurant :)
Best German food in Stuttgart!

I took my boyfriend here for some traditional German food during his visit, and brought my small Yorkie with us as well. They greeted us with a water bowl and sausage for my pup, and their service only got better from there! The food was delicious, and space was perfect, and the location was ideal! You can enjoy a short walk into the center of the city after lunch or dinner.

Although there was no english menu, The staff at the restaurant was very kind and explained the regional things in detail. The atmosphere was also good and plate and drinks were impressive. Well harmonized calculated organization. The price is also reasonable.

Nobody would expect to hear their home language (bulgarian) from the bartender! Awesome place, good beer, fresh food and service is on another level of godlike! Best experience ever!
