A great place to meet all the Dinos and fossils.
We had a spontaneous visit as a family with two boys and everyone enjoyed it a lot.
There is a restaurant directly at entrance.
If you visit on cold seasons we recommend to leave your jacket downstairs next to toilets on the hangers or lockers.
You can spend a good 90- 120 minutes there.
It is a good mixture of learning/ playing and adventure

Museum is very fun and you feel amazed by the exhibits. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is good. Some of the attractions in need of better maintenance and the size of the museum is very small. Two hours is more than enough to go calmly though everything.

There is also café/restaurant.

Very nice place. Super good option to go with kids (they don't pay)
They have a small restaurant inside and it was really good too!
We paid at the entrance, there was no line when we arrived but there was a super long line when we were leaving (for people coming in) because it was raining cats and dogs and people started coming just to find a place under to cover themselves.
But it was fine! I recommend it

Very much informative place for children. Still the covid rules have not removed. Also some interesting games are there for children.you need aprox two hours to see this museum and have good walk to the other sister museum. With this ticket u just need to pay 2 euro to enter that museum. Both are worth visiting

Liked it! It is small but nice, and they really put some effort in making it interesting, not just displaying fossils.

Been there with my 2,5 years old daughter: she lasted there 1,5 maybe 2 hours. The museum is not giant, but it's enough for kids and good for adults. Nicely organized by eras, lots of information on cards. There is a table for kids to draw with pictures and pencils (for the first time I saw a pencil sharpener in the museum!!!!), a place to park your stroller. Many places to sit and have a rest (very important if you are in the third trimester).
The museum shop has ok prices: I saw there the simple plastic Dino for like 17-20eur, the same price for the same size toy was in the shop in the mall nearby (but the shop is tiny, of course one can buy a smaller toy for less money).
In front of the museum there is a giant playground, which is very nice and fits for the majority of ages.
All in all, a great place to visit if you have kids.

Great museum for anyone interested in pre history, but for kids interested in Dinosaurs, It would be a must stop. A very short walk from the S-Bahn and was only 5€ entrance. Everything is in German, but most displays have English cards,. The Google translate app comes in handy.

Dinosaurs lovers this is the place to come to, what an amazing collection of everything dinosaurs spread over 3 floors, the attention to detail is amazing, the kids will love and so will us adults as we look back on millions of years before over time

Awesome place to be with kids, great sculptures and fossil collections. Quite good price for entry and cherry on top free parking. Several activities for kids like drawing, painting, fossil finding etc. Full 5 stars.

Even though all the information was only in German, my two boys, ages 3 and 5, enjoyed this museum. They love dinosaurs so it was perfect. I had to use Google translate. It was a bit inconvenient but okay overall.

The museum of natural history is a good place to take your kids if they are crazy about dinosaurs (ok, well, that applies to adults too). I particularly like the way the walkway to the entrance shows a relative timescale of the history of Earth and the evolution of life on the planet. The ticket prices are very reasonable, and are valid for the entire day. The exhibits start from the cambrian period with the wonderfully weird Ediacaran life forms, and are very thoughtfully planned and laid out. Even though most of the exhibits are casts and copies of actual fossils, that distinction is visible to the untrained eye, and not important to understanding the history of life on the planet.

Very nice museum and great entertainment for children. Wide variety of exhibitions. Not so many sitting areas inside.

It's only 5 💶 and trust me you won't regret your visit. It's like traveling back through time and seeing evolution of life. They have a variety of life and I was really impressed with their reconstruction of natural & native habitat. You better get there and learn more about your past. English speaking, you need an interpreter.

Nice small museum, lots of fossils, dioramas and extinct animal and dinosaur figures. Not very exciting for small children, other then looking at dinosaur and animal figures.

Educational museum suitable for young and old. I enjoyed the interactive activities and learning about the history of the Earth.

Probably the best natural history museum I've been to (so far). The dioramas are incredible, everything is well laid out. If you love dinosaurs, skeletons and the history of evolution, you should visit this museum.
