Zylinderhaus Museum für Oldtimer und Technik

Really beautiful museum with more than 160 cars and bikes (mostly German - DKV, AU, NSU, some BMW and VW). Worth visiting - complaint with disabled, handicapped parking, handicapped access. Unfortunately no tickets for disabled persons - so you pay normal fee. Besides cars and bikes a lot of different items about XIX era - so with smell of old cars you feel like you were teleported to 1970!

We are auto enthusiasts, 0and this place is heaven. Creative displays of many rare car and motorcycles make it fun. People with disabilities would be able to access all of the floors because they have an elevator and excellent parking.

Great museum with some very interesting exhibits. There is also a super restaurant next door. Good food at a good price

This is really an awesome museum, not only can you view the huge collection of cars, there are also motorcycles, bicycles, TV, telefoon, cameras and many more.

Cars collection from Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Opel, and many more. We spend about 2 hours and we are really amazed by the collection, it really brings back lots of memory.

Beautiful collection of cars and recreations of 1900s period shop. Unintentionally (?) hilarious mannequins rival the main attraction and make the €15 entrance fee worth it alone.

Vintage cars, bikes and tech displayed in old street scenes, shops etc. Enjoyed the old space invaders, pinball and jukebox too. Good value at €15 for a couple of hours. Nice bar / restaurant too.

It was a very nice and interesting museum. It's easy to park and it's free.

Wonderful selection of cars with some great additions like games, street scenes, bikes, old signs etc. Cars are in superb condition. Really nice building too.

A really nicely done and interesting museum dedicated to German cars and motorbikes. Inside there are mock-ups of old shops which are interesting, and I like how they have repurposed old TVs to show various videos. The big automated music box is impressive.also check out the perfect acoustics right in front of the shops where you only need to whisper to be heard. The entrance price was a little steep but the museum is very well maintained with not a speck of dust to be seen.

Very beautiful old cars (and other old stuff). Really loved seeing it and the history of the cars and motorbikes. There is 3 floors of cars and motorbikes!

There is a kind of jukebox orchest, if you throw 1 euro in it it will play a very nice song! That was very much fun!!

There is also a play room with pinball and airhockey, a good recommendation for families!!
There is a lot to learn and see!

Absolutely incredible museum for a nostalgia trip to Germany's past, from early 20th century.

It is not just the extensive German automobile and motorcycle collection that is worth seeing, it is also for anyone who is interested in German culture and elements of daily life from the recent past.

Replicas of Pharmacy, Toy and Kiosk stores, Postal Office, Petrol Station, Driving School, Camera store, Bicycle Repair shop, Coffee Store, and others, have been beautifully and lovingly reconstructed with countless original items on display.

Amazing. Well worth a long detour to visit.

Excellent museum, particularly the recreations of the period shops. There were makes of cars and motorcycles I've never seen before. Lovely atmosphere.

Great museum of nostalgy cars and vehicle stuff. Also other old things from daily life in the past.

It provides a nice overview of classic cars manufactured in Germany. It includes cars from the pre-WW2 era, then some cars from the dark times and mainly the postwar era up to 90s. I'm glad I've stopped by.

I highly recommend this museum. A great selection of cars and veritable trip back in time. A unique oportunity to re-visit an old toy-shop, pharmacy and home appliance store. Make sure to try out the restaurant after visiting the museum as they have a great selection of fresh and local food and wines.
