Restaurant & Cafe Edelweiss

We visited twice in one day because it was sooooo amazing!
The best strudel, schnitzel and pork dishes. The chef even happily shared his method for the fabulous potato salad. Staff were so welcoming.
Well worth a visit if in the area!!

Seemed to be a very authentic German food restaurant. Based on the pics from Google I think the menu changes frequently. The food was really good. Service was good. The prices were good for the amount of food you get. If you're in Ettal you should stop and enjoy.

Exceptional food and exceptional service. Everything we ordered was delicious. The apple strudel in vanilla sauce was to die for. The service staff spoke excellent English. They were so nice with our small children, which we do not experience everywhere we go. They had some toys in the restaurant for the kids, which kept them occupied and we were able to enjoy our meal. The entire experience was a treat. We will definitely be back.

I have lived in Garmisch for years now and the other day I was asked what my favorite German restaurant was. Unfortunately, I had not been here yet. The recipes and food here are unbelievable. I can't recommended it enough. I only leave reviews when a place bleed me away. So delicious!

Everything was delicious! The goat cheese soup with polenta was amazing . Very nice staff, highly recommended

The food was amazing. We all ordered something different and it was all good! Best Apfelstrudel we’ve ever had! Great service and the location was perfect for us.

Wir kennen die Wirtsleute Moni und den Florian noch vom Janser in SNH!
Sehr nette Leute die das echt klasse machen! Haben das Edelweiß schön hergerichtet (kennen es noch mit dem Vorpächtern/ Besitzern)! Haben Nerven bewiesen, als die Gäste neben uns ein Saustall hinterlassen hatten! Waren auch schon ein paar mal da gewesen.

Wir hatten an diesen einen Tag jeweils das Schnitzel mit der Breznpanade und Wedges und Kässpätzle! Ich sag nur: Top!
2 Schnitzel, die wirklich frisch Zubereitet wurden (sieht und schmeckt man). Lt Nichte, waren die Kässpatzen sehr gut und haben Satt gemacht! Salat war sehr gut!
Der Kuchen in der Vitrine sah auch gut aus, aber davon habe ich dann doch noch die Finger gelassen! 😃

Kurzentschlossener Zwischenstopp in Ettal. Ein zauberhaftes Cafe mit einer Oberleckeren Spekulatiustorte und einen lauwarmen Apfelstrudel. Sehr sehr lecker. Vielen Dank auch für den netten Service.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und nicht zu fettig. Wir wurden sehr nett bedient. Wir können es weiterempfehlen.

Waren oft hier,sehr nettes Personal,haben mehrere Gerichte gegessen,hat alles lecker geschmeckt.
Auch das Ambiente war sehr schön,meine absolute Empfehlung!
