Nice location with direct view to Alps. Food is delicious especially the seasonal asparagus gourmet. Dessert is also nice. The staff is friendly so as the service.

Our family enjoyed this restaurant so much that we ate there 2 of 3 evenings we stayed in Grainau. All our dishes were excellent and the atmosphere even better. A very cozy, clean restaurant. My daughter (14)and son(10 ) absolutely loved their meals the first night and asked to return. What stood out the most besides the delicious food was the friendly welcoming staff. We are an American family learning German and everyone was patient and positive with us trying our best Speaking German. I highly recommend making a reservation at this amazing restaurant while visiting the Garmisch / Grainau area. You will not be disappointed😊

Very good and tasty food, big portions. The schnitzel is excellent and the mixed grill dish is very tasty as well. It is a very nice ambiance, with a cozy terrace. The staff are very friendly and do their best to make sure everything is ok. They have good beer.

Service was great! Attentive, kind, and felt like they went above and beyond to serve us and make us feel welcome. We came here both nights of our stay in Bavaria because the food and service were the best we had in our two week trip.
The schnitzel with an onion breading was the best schnitzel we had on the trip and they had the best spaetzle we had EVER had.
Garlic cream soup was so so good, had me wanting to lick the bowl.
The Apfelküchle was delicious, got it both nights.
Very reasonably priced.
This place also has a beautiful view of the Zugspitze.

Oh man one of the best meals I’ve had in Europe. The steak and asparagus was incredible. Also had the rigatoni and it was great too. Will be back!

We were a family of four, and soon as we entered we were greeted so warmly.
The whole staff was so attentive, kind and caring.
The food was very delicious. We had the excellent garlic cream soup, roasted pork and fish.
Highly recommend this wonderful, kind and tasty restaurant.
We will definitely return on our next visit to the lovely village of Grainau.

We visited this restaurant after visiting Partnach Gorge.

It was a short drive to the restaurant with parking available outside.

We were accommodated with short notice by the lovely staff.

The atmosphere was excellent with a great view to top it off.

The food came out in a timely manner and tasted delicious.

I would highly recommend visiting this hidden gem!

The wolfbarsch filet fish with spinach, potatoes & garlic & parsley sauce is incredible!!
The staff were all so nice and love kids. The waitress carried one of the toddlers around to give the couple a break, it was lovely!
Nice thank you espresso or shot at the end too. The view is stunning. Book ahead! I saw 10 groups get turned away because it was booked out. Indoor and outdoor seating. Parking on the street.

The food was excellent and they were very flexible when I asked for certain side dishes to accompany the snitzel (no extra charge). It is really worthy to book your dinner here.
From the house, at the end, we were offered a drink or cofee. Gorgeous restaurant

The food, atmosphere and service were excellent. We had the schnitzel (Jägerstubl) the chicken breast and for afters, a to die for Keiserschmarn. The portions were huge and resonably priced. My wife being in a wheel chair was made to feel very welcome and we were given a place where she could sit comfortably at the table in her chair. I've reviewed many restaurants in the area and this place is in my top 3. Level access to restaurant and beer terrace for those in wheel chairs.. We were lucky to get a place so it's best to book in advance as this place fills quickly. We will return. Keep up the great work.

Amazing food, we had the Schnitzel Jàgerstrubel that was just great. The apple fritters were the best we have ever had...

The best german restaurant I have visited till date! Must try palatschinken for dessert. It was absolutely delicious! For main course, I tried zanda fish and it was amazing with the hazelnut on top!
Definitely going back there! Special thanks to the chef 😊
