Alphotel Ettal

We had an amazing time at Alphotel Ettal! Erina at the front desk was fantastic—despite having some late-night tasks, she still made time to refill our beers and recommended the white sausage for breakfast (a must-try!). The room was spotless, with stunning views from the balcony, and the hotel was super welcoming to our dog. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had plenty of options. Overall, a really enjoyable stay, and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful, relaxing getaway!

Amazing location, lovely lady at reception. Great food and drinks available for dinner. Breakfast was lovely. Very clean and well run. Electric car charger ports also.

We were arriving late, and our receptionist Zhenya made sure to make us feel welcome. He took our dinner orders while we were still on the road and made sure they were hot and ready for us when we arrived at kitchen closing time. We really appreciated the extra steps he took to make us feel welcome!

This is a quiet street hotel with great location, the food was plenty and at a good rate. Rooms we had, my wife and I was only available with two single beds but all neccessary amneties was there. Highly reccomended👍

This hotel is in a great location. It is a quiet back road in the valley. We knew we would be arriving late and they arranged for our room keys to be kept in a safe outside the hotel. The rooms were very clean and we had a cute little balcony. The breakfast was inclusive and delicious, they had rolls, sausages, meats, cheeses, eggs, juice, coffee, fruit and yogurts. The staff working the desk did not speak very much English making it difficult to communicate. Overall I was very pleased with my stay. The parking for the hotel is terrible though, you have maybe 5 designated parking spots for the whole hotel.

We went to this hotel for a single night during a trip towards Italy. We had a very spacious room, nice and tidy. Bed was excellent. Staff was very friendly, too, giving a thorough explanation of all we had to know. Location is also near the town but still calm.

Nice hotel, in Ettal, right at the foot of a mountain.

My friend and i were warmly recieved and took great lengths to show us the facilities (sauna and swim pool). Room is great, wifi is stable. Hope this review helps.

Quaint little hotel with a great location and great views. Just a short drive away is the Eibsee and Zugspitz. The rooms are well furnished and very clean and our room also had a small minibar. There is a hot water dispenser in the reception for making your own hot beverages. The hotel is evidently a hotspot for tour buses visiting the area and the buses unfortunately tend to hog the hotel's already limited parking spots. Otherwise, we had a very positive experience.

Clean rooms, quiet surroundings, decent food and great drinks, very helpful & friendly staff. As it's still 3 star Hotell, don't expect to see a big variety menu.

We stayed here five nights and did day trips to castles and walking tracks. The place was clean, warm and the breakfast was a perfect way to start the long days. Would recommend.
