I visited Alten Mühle last spring at the end of March for lunch. It is a cozy restaurant with a beautiful decor. The staff were very friendly and polite. I had this beef dish that was very fresh. The side sauce that came with the meal; I've never tasted anything like it before. It was like a creamy mustard sauce but with an explosion of flavour. I would travel back just try this sauce again. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Extremely delicious dishes! We were a couple checking for a special restaurant out from the noise of the city and we definitely found it.

The location is idyllic, surrounded by trees and green areas, the terrace is big, lots of flowers (even olive trees!!), quite, close to a small river and no traffic.

The service was perfect, we experienced this feeling of being the unique table despite they were busy. At every moment we wanted attention we got it.

And regarding the food, what to say! I am Spanish and ordered a “Gazpacho” (Spanish cold tomato soup) a dish a bit difficult to get it delicious and I was extremely surprise about how they got that so Spanish flavor on it, I do not know if I could have prepared it like they did, marvelous!

Apparently, the menu is rotating and therefore you have always something new on it, this is cool since they investigate with new dishes, tastes and flavors and definitely they get the best of both food: german and international food.

I wanted to make a long review since I considered this place a perfect mixture of high quality food, perfect location and extremely good service.

The best breakfast around. The croissant with their homemade jam is to die for. Great selection for both breakfast and dinner and nice outside area in the green close to the river. Inside is cozy but limited seating. Definitely recommend this place. Super dog friendly too.
