I was very satisfied. The park was built on a very simple logic. You just follow the path and enjoy the beautiful nature. There is a very rich playground for children. Do not miss the feeding of animals shows! And, if you will be hungry too... the Hamburger is very big and good and tasty and not expensive.

Suitable for families and children! Also wheelchair-friendly. The variety of animals was incredible! You should go during the feeding time of the animals because it's a show that you don't want to miss. Suitable for families, couples or even if you are going alone. The price is great as well. Highly recommended even if you don't live close to Bad Mergentheim.

We went on a sunny summer weekend day and spent about 2h here. I think the idea of having only animals that can normally be found in this climate is great, and it felt like the animals were comfortable.
The enclosures are big, so you either have to be lucky or patient to see some of the animals. One other option is to go when they are fed, and the feeding times are listed at the enclosures.
The spotted deer just by the exit are really cute and friendly, but some are getting a bit fat from all the snacks they get from tourists 😅
Oh, and while it is possible to bring your dog here, they cannot go in the enclosures, which means you'd have to miss a bit of the fun of you being your fluffy friend along!

Wonderful Wildpark with spacious animal enclosures, ample parking, and good food options.

We were lucky and caught a few of the (posted) feeding times.

The Koboldburg spielplatz was an extra bonus!! We'll definitely be back!!

I was there about 10 years ago by accident after taking a wrong turn hiking up to the castle, but this was the best mistake I've ever made. The staff was very helpful even with me knowing no German. The park is a hidden gem. The exhibits fit right into the forest and it all feels like it should be there. I spent a little over two hours there midday on a weekday and was thrilled to see the wolves running by in addition to all the other animals. Everything was clean and appeared very family friendly. I would definitely go again if I find myself in this area.

This park is always a delight. All the animals are well cared for and live in large enclosures that closely resemble their natural habitat. Visit it during feeding hours to see the animals in action (but it may be very crowded), or go after the feeding hours to have a peaceful stroll through the park.

Cannot complain: nice parking, clean, many animals, personal friendly. Ticket is not cheap (12€) but it is a nice big tour. Took us 2h to go superficially through it.

If you want to see most of the animals not only from a distance you should take the free guided tour (it's twice a day) although it's very crowded. You can wander around for yourself as well of course and have a bit more relaxing experience.

It's very nice when you have visit to this place and the animals and birds have feeding (don't forget to look for the time of it). It was the first time I could see lynx that could climb trees and catch their food!!!:)

Nicely arranged. You can customise your route to make it a short as well as a long walk. Nice playground.

It is simply the best zoo we have ever seen.

We absolutely loved this place. It looks super fun for children, but for adults it's also a great plan. We went a bit late, so we didn't get to see all animals, but it was awesome. Loved the space, the animals... it was like taking a little walk through the woods. There's a cafeteria that looks really nice and comfy, specially for winter. But the selection is a bit narrow. What we did was visit, and had dinner later in Bad Mergentheim, which is pretty cute and nearby. Word of advice... the food sold there to feed the animals is plain raw corn. So... yeah, feeding animals is fun (in some cases you can feed just at certain hours), and supporting the park is important. But its about 100gr of plain corn for 1 euro... I dunno.

Loved it! Came on a weekday in October when the kids were in school so it was nice and quiet. I very much enjoyed how peaceful it was, a walk in the woods with fabulous animal encounters! Plus free parking, low ticket cost, clean bathrooms and onsite food.

Really beautiful park. We went on the coldest of December days and still had a lovely time. The park is very visitor-friendly, with graphic maps every few meters showing you your location and the animals you’ll see next. The best thing is definitely the path structure, you can’t miss anything, it’s so easy to follow.

Another great point is the animal food package: it lists all the animals you can feed it to.

Absolutely worth a visit, will come back in the springtime!

It's a wonderful place to bring small children to learn about the animals of Europe. If you go at the feeding times, you'll basically get a free tour and see some cool predators doing what they do best. They feed twice a day, but the morning, during the week is best.

This place was fantastic. We watched them feed the animals (we got a list of times for feedings when we arrived). The animals were very interactive. There were a couple beautiful large playgrounds and a lot of shady spots and benches. There is a souvenir shop as well as a restaurant that also serves ice cream, coffee and snacks. Buying feed for the animals is a must forbthe kids!
