Quite local for my impression. I can tell how they communicate that some are old customers. Service is friendly with English menu. Foods are good. My wife and kid recommend sausage and pork. We ordered two glasses of white wines, don't remember the name now, but both are good. They serve big portion of foods but the price is really reasonable.

My mom and I recently visited Würzburg for the second time and wanted recommendations from the locals. Our tour guide told us about this hidden gem and I am so glad he did. My baba was German and made some deliciously authentic food, and this to me, this tasted just like her food. We shared the sausage appetizer which was huge. It came with a few sausages and a big pretzel with authentic German mustard. I order the spaetzle and it was SOO good. The cheese strung off each noodle and the sauce was creamy and rich. There had to have been at least 4 cups worth; it was truly massive. The fried onions on top added a nice crunchy texture. It came was a side salad that was the size of a full sized plate. The amount of food you got for the price point was amazing. My mom ordered the Wienerschnitzel which came with a pretzel. The schnitzel was smoking hot and tasty. We also ordered German wine to go with our meal which was a nice change. We would absolutely return here in a heartbeat.

Great service and food in the “Altstadt” of Würzburg. We found this great restaurant thanks to other reviews. Staff is nice and quite fast with orders and food was absolutely great. Both Portions (Sternipfännchen & Käsespätzle) were quite huge and they kindly give us the possibility to bring it home.
Worth a visit especially if you want to try German food!

Friendly staff, fast service, delicious beer! We sat in the beer garden and had a good view of the quirky fountain. Staff are super quick from making an order, to food and drink arriving. No English menu, but the gentleman offered to translate if we needed help which was very kind :) - we used Google translate app (I'd recommend it for anywhere in the world if you aren't great at the language. Just point the camera and it translates!). We loved the food too and left happy and full! Wünderbar!

The food was very good for my taste. Not too salty, fish was fresh and tasty, nice salad with perfect dressing, big portion. You can eat heavy German food as well as healthy lighter dishes but be prepared for the big portions:) Good service, good price. I’ll return here again.
