Great place. This was the biggest bike shop i have ever seen or visited. There is so much to choose from that everyone must be satisfied. Not only bikes but any type of equipment too. Ebikes, moutain bikes, kids bikes and much more. Everything can be touched and tested. Helmets, shoes etc. Service here is superb. Highly recommend.

This is a really big bicycle shop, that caters to most of your needs. The staff are friendly, competent and efficient.

Today (Saturday) I went and had a look at the foldable bike section at Fahrrad XXL. The staff (James Fox) was very friendly, took his time and explained to me the advantages and disadvantages of all the foldable bikes they had in store and that are mainly on the market. He know what he was talking about and let me test them. We discussed it for at least an hour (in which he could have sold many other bikes most likely). In the the end I decided not to take any bike home yet as the price tag was a bit too high. However, when I come back I will definitely get Brompton.

I bought a bike today and I’m so happy with it! I was helped by Nico Bläser and he was really friendly, helpful and patient with explaining the pros and cons of each bike. He gave really good advice while taking into consideration my wishes and the whole process of buying the bike was really easy. Could not recommend him or the store more!

Bought a bike here the other day and was extremely satisfied with the fantastic help I received from Daniel and Nico. They were both incredibly knowledgeable, patient while I tried out various bikes and sensitive to my needs. In the end they helped me choose a bike I’m very happy with. Truly top notch. I called about a bike I saw online, they couldn't send it to a closer shop because they are so busy because of the pandemic, so I drove 3 hours to their shop. When I got there, they had the bike built, and matched to my specs - all ready to go. They went over the bike with me and answered all my questions. They were friendly the whole time, even considering how busy they were. I felt like I was the only person there. Besides that, I got a great deal on a last year model e-mtb bike (26% off!)

I had been shopping for a new bike for quite a while and had a very particular set of requirements in mind. I visited a store on a Saturday and was amazed by not only the size of the store and the variety of bikes on display but also by the massive number of customers. I thought that there was no way that I would get to talk to a sales representative, but much to my surprise I was given very attentive, professional, and patient service by a salesperson who listened carefully to my requirements and helped me select a very solid bike that was on sale. I was also impressed by the facility: there is a short track in the store that includes a hill, which is really good for testing out the gears, shifting mechanism and brakes. For me, after having been frustrated at another large bike store in the area -- that really only seemed to care about selling e-bikes -- this was a very good in-store experience: the salesperson recognized that I knew what I was talking about, showed me exactly what I wanted to see, answered my questions -- even when he had to ask a colleague for information -- and made the purchase as simple as possible for me.

The store had a wide variety of options for bicycles and accessories. All the employees were very friendly and helpful especially Mr. Nico Bläser who nicely explained individual aspects of the bicycle which was immensely helpful for me to make my final decision.

I visited to see two specific triathlon bikes which were shown on the website. I had called in advance, and both bikes had been built up and were in the showroom in time for my visit.
I had fantastic service from Christopher Klauer.
He allowed me to ride both bikes outside for a long time, which was really helpful for me.
He was helpful, friendly, answered all my questions, and did it all in English, which is not his first language! Really excellent!!

Waited 25 minutes for someone to free up. Worth the wait. Robert Stubbe helped us fully understand the key differences between two bikes over which we were deliberating and was very patient throughout. Feel really good we made the right purchase decision.

We were immensely pleased with the customer service of XXL Fahrrad in St Augustine. The sales advisor Michael Windhagen provided excellent advice, was extremely customer orientated, and provided us with wonderful follow-up after our Thule was delivered. I can hands down recommend this shop and Michael Windhagen for any bike purchases you or your family might need - five stars!

Great place to buy bikes in the Bonn area! James Fox is a great guy and very helpful. Our daughter was thrilled with her new Mountain bike :-)

Sejdi (Hukolli) was great! He helped me choose new grips and replace my broken saddle. He was super patient, very knowledgeable and quick to understand customer needs.

Excellent experience especially due to the help of Herr Stubbe. I was buying a bike for my son and Herr Stubbe placed incredible energy to find the correct option and was even ready for us to leave the store empty handed instead of buying the wrong bike. Herr Stubbe took the time to go through each option highlighting the good and bad until we found the right one. I fully recommend the store and ask for Herr Stubbe!
