Fast service, great place to bring friends too. Large area can accommodate large parties. The beer is good as well as the food. Walking distance from our hotel.

The dinner was sumptuous, mouth watering and quite frankly amazing. The food made me full and the beer was a delight. It was such a great experience to dine in whilst having the view of the Opera house across the street and basking in the glory of the night.

Delicious food here, plenty of tables, very quiet and comfortable. Cold drinks.

Zum Franziskaner is a fantastic restaurant that offers a delightful dining experience. The food was outstanding, and they offered a variety of fresh, locally brewed beers that were a delight to taste. The cozy interior and overall atmosphere added to the enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend trying their sausage, as it was absolutely amazing and definitely a must-try.

The food is excellent. I had the Münchner Schnitzel and it was delicious. The beer of course it’s amazing.
The service was really fast and the staff friendly. The decoration and atmosphere of the restaurant is very traditional and beautiful.
I believe is not expensive, the media of the dishes goes from 12€ to 24€. Of course there are some dishes out of that range.

My family was fighting outside the restaurant because we couldn’t decide where to eat and I didn’t want to eat at this restaurant. When we finally decided to go in, my expectations were not high. As a vegetarian, I wasn’t expecting a wide variety of options at an establishment like this one. However, I was surprised beyond my wildest dreams. I ordered the vegetable curry, and it was easily my best meal in Germany, and maybe even one of the best meals of my life. Additionally, my mother and grandmother both ordered the beet ravioli which was PHENOMENAL as well! Not only did this place have wonderful options for everyone, but the execution of the dishes was top notch. Our waitress was very kind, and the service was incredibly quick. BEST RESTAURANT IN MUNICH!!!

Amazing place in the heart of Munich. From the outside might not look like much but once inside it transforms into a elegant old Bavarian style restaurant. The food was incredible the rost pork was so tender and jucie with the crispy crackling skin and the soft potato dumplings. It was a wonderful experience. The server was polite and attentive even as he had multiple table, he never skip a beat. The salmon and char were tender and delicious. The schnitzel was cook to perfection. The place is super espacious and has a great atmosphere.

Really awesome place to visit, smack bang in the centre and very busy. Food was excellent and the beer was also top draw, we bought a hearty platter and it was excellent. We shared a long table with some others and it was just a good overall experience. Can take a bit of time to get served during the busy period but its fast when you do.

One of the best Bavarian restaurants out there, without a question! Lives up to its name with great food, traditionally upscale ambience and equally great service (also a good outdoor area in summer). Definitely recommend the schnitzels and the pulled pork burger.

Went to this place after a friends recommendation. Well, the place is HUGE! We didn't have a reservation (but I suggest you make one) but we were seated after a short while. The food is great and the beer is even greater!! The staff is quite helpful. Overall a great experience in downtown Munich!!

This place is amazing!! Perfect post Munich Residenz meal. Our waiter (a lady with brown hair), we didn't catch her name but she was perfect, on the ball & knew exactly what she was doing!! We were traveling from Australia & I wish we went back before leaving Munich. (Only got a photo of our starter & drink)

Lunch at noontime rush hour, service was excellent. We split a pulled pork sandwich with potato fries.

Service has been top notched with most, if not all servers paying attention to you the moment you step foot into the restaurant. My wife and I are from Singapore, clearly not local, but the people around us very hospitable. Big thumbs up for a place to take a short break or have a full meal at.

Great experience on 1st floor, 10 of us looked after very well by the team, including our vegan member of the party. Good traditional food in a lovely atmosphere. And of course great beer 🍻!!
