Good assortment, prices and location. Before you go to your destination, it’s the best grocery to shop.

I went to this Lidl for no particularly reason. It seemed like any other Lidl but the employees looked like they were working against their will. I have seen more smiles in a concentration camp than this Lidl.

Very busy place. Good prices, fresh vegetables and fruits and many varieties of goods.

Edit: the situation with the amount of products is improved and also there are small shopping baskets at the entrance. We're cool now, Lidl :)

The supermarket in the main station (Hbf) is not well equipped. I wanted to buy 2 products and couldn't find the second one because the shelves were empty. That shouldn't happen in a store that's located in such a frequent area.
Plus, it was obligatory to take a shopping cart and a man at the entrance gave me a big family cart that I had to push around the market for no reason, although I told him that I only wanted to buy two small things.

Its opened on sundays as well which is more appreciated and it has variety of food items

The only store open in Essen on Sundays. Centrally locates makes it easy for everyone to shop conveniently. Best prices, availability, variety, it’s location makes comfortable shopping experience. Maintenance is also good. Been here many times.

It stays open until 22:00 and 7/7 (only on Sunday it closes at 20:00) but still very useful.. and also the great location because it's located in the centre of the city and in the central station and can be reached easily.

this place is almost always open, rain or shine, holiday or working day, 24/7/365. it packs groceries, household items, and sometimes even kitchen appliances and small furniture! it's usually crowded but when it's open 24 hd, it's worth it.

Largest supermarket in Essen Hbf. Good Location. You will get almost all daily needs here.

Very nice prices and variety of products. Always can find something to eat or cook. Compared to local stores most of items are much cheaper. Checkout line is always long but moves quite fast. Recommended

Is one of the best martz I've ever seen so cheap and with good and nice products, above all Lidl also has very competent worker who are ready to assist when ever require their Attentions.
Lidl mart go on get and achieve your goals for the way is cleared for you.

I love it here! I am living for shopping from this particular Lidl! It is always crowded, always swarming with people! Love waiting at the long lines especially on weekends! The staff is very friendly and welcoming though this one is not meant ironically...

It's always crowded, but it's great and has great accessibility.

The best part of this branch is that it's open 365 days! So quite an ideal place for shopping on Sunday.

Wide selection and you can get all under one roof 🙂 and super friendly staff.👍 Was a bit crowded on X-Mas day but was expected 😎
