Haus der Geschichte Baden-Württemberg

Went to see American Dreams exhibit primarily. Worth the time, very interesting. The rest of the museum was also interesting. And, of course, just a short walk to the pedestrian district of Stuttgart.

The American Dreams is a fantastic exhibition with many great examples of Germans that made it in the USA. Or didn’t.

Great museum, beautifully designed

Second favorite museum here in Stuttgart. Has a little bit of something for everyone; even an old version of the knock down drag out game of Monopoly. What y’all don’t get that serious about Monopoly? Sorry about the little tangent; I had flashbacks. Though it’s my second favorite I would definitely go back.

Very cool museum showing history of the area. All info in museum is in German, there is an English interactive guide. Best museum in Stuttgart imo. In August it’s free!

It was very interesting. I did the guided tour which was very good. You learn about the history of the migrants who came to Germany or left Germany. All the stories are true and they are so interesting. You can also see some things these people had with them when they arrived in or left Germany. These people actually told members of staff their story, so it isn't made up either.

Extremely clear covering many subjects in a interesting way such as local and German history and present and photos of dads with there children froughout time. But it all shown in a interesting way for instance the bit on woods had signs sliding out of the side of trees.

This was one of my favorite museums in Stuttgart lots of interactive exhibits beautiful pictures. many suits of armor beautiful jewelry. I took lots of pictures recommend this for anyone with kids and families.

Very well presented museum. Takes a subject that one could understandably find boring and makes it interesting. Exhibits were presented very well. Make sure you ask for audioguide
