Great spot after a walk in the forest. The atmosphere is cozy and food is delicious! Great German beer and specialty ☺ we bring our guests here for a treat. Outside there is a big playground for the kids. A big friendly Sennenhund is around :-)

Beatiful view at the whole city, the height of the tower is perfect, gets you higher than the forest it is in. There are numerous ways to get to it and side attractions too :) There is also a nice restaurant called the same name too, perfect nature runaway as it is very near the populated area.

The food is absolutely fantastic! Delicious, hearty, German meals with a magnificent view. The restaurant is really kid-friendly and the service is great! After (or before) eating, one can enjoy a lovely walk through the forest.

Very friendly, cheerful team, family run, dogs and children very welcome. Covid restrictions managed very well including reduced menu offering which was tasty and satisfying. Best to reserve a table at least one day ahead.

Classic German fare and great service in an amazing location in the forest above Hofheim. Schnitzel, Kaesespaetzle, bier, white wine schorle - all excellent.
