I enjoyed the hike. We went all the way up and the weather was perfect. At the bottom it might be easier to climb. As you go up the rocks get bigger and the ridges get deeper, but yet still fun to do. Nature is amazing and can create astonishing things. You can choose the sporty way and go through the rocks or take the trail that runs along side. If u get up to the bridge your have done 2/3 of the hike. Just be careful on ur way down!!!

Parking at the bottom is now €5, payable only with €0.50, €1, & €2 coins.
Automatic locking bathrooms cost €1, taking smaller coins and even cards.

Sea of rocks 🪨 are a giant amusement park for families with kids any ages or couples or groups of friends. A lot of fun. It is a good exercise for you while being in the beautiful nature rock formation.
Parking lots are not free. Plenty of space to park though.
Right now store with ice cream is open. Next to it was a small farm produce market - fresh fruits, jams, etc.
You can clime rock wall all the way up or partially or hike up on the trail to the right or to the left of the rock wall.
Don't forget to take pictures when you are up there.
You can take a snack or lunch, there are benches and tables along the way closer to the top.

Amazing spot. You can take the hiking treks or climb up the rocks which is really fun! The view is pretty amazing, too.

Super place, we loved it! Children from 3 years old can go and with help of adult climb this "stone river". In slow pace it takes around 1,5 h. to climb up and 30 min.to get down.

Very good place for climbing the rocks which was formed 350 million years ago, great fun for kids. This place is best suitable to visit during the summer and good weather. Be careful while getting down and it is advisable to use the hiking path instead of rocks. All in one it will be a great experience 👌

Quite a magical place. Boulders range from less than a cubic metre, up to maybe 8 cubic metres. A challenge for small children and those not so fit, but great fun. It's more of a hike than a climb for adults.
Try getting up and down without using your hands.
There's also a path, for those who don't have the stamina.
The bretzels are a rip-off at the kiosk at the top. I asked the vendor if they were children's versions. He replied that they are normal size, with a serious face.
For some lovely scenery and a taste of german "humour", I can recommend it.

Fun day out. In summer it is advisable to start well after midday. You should have shadows for the entire stretch

I come here from time to time since I was a child. Beautiful to look at and fun to climb on :) Also, a good starting point for hiking tours.

Great Trek. You could either reach the top walking or climb rocks. Would recommend to try the rock climbing atleast a bit 😃
