La Dolce Vita

One of my favourite Italian restaurants in Frankfurt for so many years, just as good today as always! We had pasta mista, dessert and coffee ☕ great relaxed atmosphere and beautiful little garden to sit in outside too. High6 recommended!

Excellent Italian restaurant serving outstanding food. The restaurant is quite cozy and warm. Lively general Italian! manager greeted us with a number of great wine and food selections. Everything was spot on delicious, great white wine, free small appetizers followed by parpadelle spaghetti and house salad. Bronzino grilled fish with potatoes and vegetables was fresh, tasty and excellent. Complementary grappa was a welcomed finishing touch. Pricey but great!

Food quality is excellent, I took the tuna tartar they were offering that day and it was delicious. The ambience brings you to Italy, for a moment I even forgot I was living in Germany! The small garden makes it ideal for summer days.

Fantastic food, probably the best Italian I've ever had, amazing atmosphere, but absolutely best thing about this place is the service. They make you feel so welcome, smiling, shaking your hand, taking the time to small talk a little. They create the most personal dinning experience I have ever had and I don't speak German at all. I would recommend this place to anybody.

This restaurant is wonderful!!

Upon entering we were greeted by two very friendly and welcoming Italians who we found out later are brother-in-laws and own the restaurant.

The atmosphere is quaint and authentically Italian looking. The patio is beautiful and would be a lovely place to sit in the warmer months.

They have a large selection of wine which they know well and their recommendations were perfect.

They brought us a small delicious appetizer right away with our wine while we decided on our orders. The special was a cheesy parmesan spaghetti and our group decided to all get it as a small starter. Watching them prepare it on the table beside us was really neat! They had the freshly cooked spaghetti in a large mostly hollowed out parmesan cheese "bowl". They mixed it around in the cheese while it melted and then plated it. It was SO delicious!! Next we had the sea bass which was baked in a crust made of salt. After it was cooked they lit it on fire next to us and then lightly cracked open the crust to reveal a delicious and moist fish. They plated it beautifully and it tasted even better! For dessert we went with a classic tiramisu and once again it was plated beautifully and tasted delicious! They also brought us grappa to end our evening and honestly the entire experience had us feeling like we were back in Italy again. It was a lovely evening.

Wonderful meal in this amazing restaurant. Friendly and attentive staff who were very knowledgeable about their food and wine.
