Lucky Garden

I was visiting from Australia (where we have fantastic chinese restaurants) and tried various different Chinese restaurants in Switzerland and they were not authentic and didn't taste very good. LUCKY GARDEN surprised me! It is the most authentic Chinese food I have ever had in Switzerland. The customer service is amazing and the owners are super friendly. This place is a must for anyone in Switzerland looking for authentic Chinese food that tastes great with amazing clean flavours. My friends and I stayed there eating until it closed then came in the next day for lunch 😂

What an amazing and unexpected find in this small Swiss town. The couple that runs this restaurant is so kind and welcoming and were amazing hosts! My partner and I shared fried wontons, a veggie dish with glass noodles, and some duck. Everything was tasty and fresh. The patio outside was very enjoyable on a cooler summer evening. English menu available.

Returning from Friedrichschafen, had some time before catching the train back to Zurich, decided to grab early dinner. The friendly owner greeted us at the door with a handshake. Authentic southern Chinese food, with large portions which we both could not finish, despite stuffing ourselves. We ordered 3 dishes, which could actually feed 4 persons.

Excellent food quality, balance of flavours with "wok's breath" of intense flames, heat infused into the stir-fried food! Hallmark of an experienced Chinese chef at the helm. Definitely a highlight of our Swiss/German trip!

The Lucky Garden offers a very good and traditional Chinese food, in a friendly and "family like" atmosphere. Being there, you feel as you would be eating at Chinese friend's home. I recommend everyone liking real Chinese food to go there!

Excellent food and service to a reasonable price. The meat is mostly local and everything is cooked freshly. The grappa on the house rounds up a perfect experiance.
