Love this place! Have been going here to eat for well over a decade.
This is family operated business & they are super lovely people, the service is friendly & fast! There's a lot of traditional German food on the menu & everything is fresh with a home cooked vibe.
The dunkle bier & Aperol Spritz are divine!😍
The atmosphere is super cozy & we always strike up nice conversations.
In nice weather you can sit outside which is a nice option when you are dining with children or bringing your dog with you.
I can't recommend this place enough!

Fantastic goulash, wine, and a perfect stop mid hike. Service was wonderful and very friendly.

Was there with friends in May. Lovely restaurant, allows dog. Had the best bratkartoffeln washed down with great beer. Will post photos when they're found (among thousands taken in this long trip!)

Good quality and very traditional menu. Started with Handkäs and then venison stew with red cabbage. I should have asked for bread to finish the gravy but my partner got in first.

Have dined here before. Today we enjoyed the Calf Liver Dinner. Best ever !! Wonderful Atmosphäre and Service!!

A really lovely place for authentic German food. I got the grüne soße and of all the places I've had it this was my favourite. Staff were very friendly and food was really tasty - we would definitely come back

Friendly atmosphere, awesome traditional food, and fabulous service in the heart of Königstein. We love going there! Jägerschnitzel, rump steaks are repeatably awesome!
