I often have a lunch when I come to Bamberg. I always enjoy the German traditional cuisine and smoking beer✨
The price level is very reasonable and they
provide an extensive menu for example fish, meat and wurst.
I satisfied with their service.

We came here for my birthday. It was a good choice, great authentic traditional food and friendly service.

Perfect food & location! The Hirsch-goulasch I had been dreaming for 10 years, and came so copious that I had to take half to the hotel.

This isn't three star dining but the food was delicious, served with a smile and very fast. Good selection of wine as well and nice spot in the old town

The asparagus soup was excellent, as was the schnitzel meal. The potato salad with the schnitzel was so good! The Apple strudel was probably the best we’d had in Germany this last week, and we’ve had quite a few! Great service, would highly recommend.

we were a party of 4, made advance reservation so we could enjoy a great table.

We enjoyed very good asparagus soup, a beef broth, and as main course the Tafelspitz with horseradish sauce. Delicious

Excellent food. Laid-back service. Lovely atmosphere.

We 4 people went there to have bear. Price is little bit high. But...I liked their service, specially that beautiful girl who talked with us (in English). They have spacious blocks and Inner environment is awesome, you can have party there easily. You can also have hard meals and they have good collection of food items.

Great place for eating either during the day or evening! Very friendly both to non-Germans and big groups, which is very nice as a tourist. Menu in both German and English, and nice staff to help with choosing between the specialties!

Cozy restaurant with a great menu. Excellent prices. Got a large meal (ox cheeks) and rauchbier for I think 22€? Servers were friendly and ample seating for 1 person that wasn’t the bar! Would go back on my next visit to Bamberg!

Worth checking out, even if you aren't a beer drinker. Lots of history and cool sights to take in, and if you like beer it's a real busy place that will give you an experience to remember. I prefer quieter beer halls, the food was just ok, and service looks tough when it gets full, but it's worth going at least once if you are nearby.

Family day out and we stopped for lunch there spontaneously. The drinks are great and the food is delicious along with the street view . Will go back again
