Alt Montjoie

Only went to the restaurant but I would like to give my review because... damn!! What a good food and beer!! And the lady was also very nice to us. Definitely recommend this place for a nice German food.

I had a very pleasant stay at Alt Monjoie in Monschau. Just before the start of the high season. The hotel is nice, very clean and the beds are good (I liked that I could pick a bigger pillow). The staff is polite!

The town is lovely, every street looks like it could be in a movie scene. It’s however quite dull. Mostly senior visitors that leave at the end of the day. I went for a 14km hike (you’ll find a folder about it in your room) that had marvelous mountains views.

I could also recommend the public pool (Vennbad). You can walk there in 12 minutes and go for a (morning) swim.

Mind you: you can’t park in the village. You will have to pick on of the many parkingplaces just outside the village. It makes the town look and feel a lot better btw.

We was here twice im August 2020 and once im August 2021. Everytime we found here tasty flammkuchen and good side dishes and very friendly team. We have been waiting our order a bit longer than usual, it was not necessary, but they bring us an apologize and served round of a free drinks.

Had a lovely 3 day stay. The food was excellent. I liked the complementary slippers and toiletries. Beautiful area for motorbike rides. Thank you to taking our stay enjoyable.

We hebben hier lekker gegeten. Vriendelijke bediening, zelfs een praatje gedaan met de eigenaar. Heel gezellig ingericht restaurant en terras. Misschien boeken we volgende keer hier ook eens een kamer.

Gezellig hotelletje met 10 kamers. Trappen lopen naar je kamer!
Kamer en badkamer super schoon ! Té weinig bergruimte voor je toiletspullen in de badkamer.
Maar voor paar daagjes is het prima te doen.
Bedden zijn uitstekend met 3 verschillende modellen kussens! Thee en koffie in de hal; vrij te nemen.
Hotel heeft een súper leuk en gezellig terras !
Ontbijt is rijkelijk.
Keuken sluit 18.00. (Bijna overal in Monschau)
Goed eten met goede prijskwaliteit verhouding.
Uitstekende drankkaart !
Personeel uitermate vriendelijk. Is een compliment waard.
Al met al een hotel waar wij graag terug voor willen komen 🙏

Hôtel bien situé et bien tenu, jolie terrasse. La patronne est très accueillante et en plus polyglotte, ce qui est vraiment appréciable. Nous avons pris un repas au restaurant, flammeküche et salade : bon rapport qualité prix. Le buffet du petit-déjeuner est bien garni et frais.
