Healing Castle Schochwitz

Beautiful and in a quiet, idyllic town that was amazing to explore. Relatively close drive to Halle and Leipzig, and an easy train ride to Berlin. I think the only downside is that some electrical outlets did not work, so charging my phone meant charging one of my three power banks in the bathroom overnight while using a second to charge my phone near me, and the third to keep my phone charged while out and about. But it was manageable, and all the positives definitely outweighed that one drawback.

I was at the Castle with my Girlfriend, a couple of days ago and it was beautiful. Our hope to see the beauty in the snow was destroyed because of the good weather conditions but anyway. Sunny, Rainy or Snow. It's a beauty. You can enjoy the quietness of the garden, or just watch the birds at the lake.

The Healing Castle is a truly remarkable place. Everything about it - from the lush garden to the zen meditation room - fills you with positivity during your stay. The owner is an incredible woman who has dedicated her life to healing and helping others. We had profound talks about life and the world, and I won't soon forget the other volunteers I shared this experience with. Everyone talks about cultivating Life Changing Experiences... well, for me, this was absolutely one of them.

Unforgettable. That’s the kind of experience you’ll have at the healing castle. I was here for over a month, and the love and kindness Ingrid (the owner) sent my way was incredible. The castle is beautiful - a true 14th century gem. The gardens that surround it are spectacular, and the accommodation feels both homely and elegant. I won’t forget my time with Ingrid and the castle - it will stay with me forever!

This is a really great place. They recently changed the owner and concept. Which really worked out perfectly. The area around is full of lovely wineries waiting to be explored. The nearby lake is a great hiking destination with plenty of opportunities to relax.

Healing Castle is a wonderful place to disconnect from the hustle of the city. You can walk in the nature for miles without seeing another person, or practice yoga and meditation. The peaceful sounds of nature help to relax and reflect. It is the perfect place to come if you are looking to gain a new appreciation of life. The philosophy of the life school is a great concept for those wishing to gain a new perspective on their life and what is important.

Healing Castle Schochwitz is a charming castle with very pleasant atmosphere. It is not a castle transformed into a 5 star hotel. Instead it is a place with a soul reconstructed with a heart. You can feel and see the touch of Jim and Ingrid, the owners, all the way through the place.
And most importantly, it is also a therapy centre. I can only recommend the private therapy session with Ingrid as well as the crystal bed therapy. Both tried several times with great results!!

Such a beautiful and peaceful place. This Castle is a hidden Gem in Germany! Absolutely a must visit place.

What a castel! We booked it for our wedding and it was just perfect. Also a big THANK YOU to the amazing team behind Schloss Schochwitz!

A nice place, clean hotel, nice bed, comfortable, Healing Castle is a nice environment and suitable for tourist who wish to have a quiet and peaceful time.

Magical

It's magical

Wir hatten ein wunderschönes langes Wochenende mit 11 Pärchen und 6 Kleinkindern im Schloss und waren rundum zufrieden.
Die Zimmer sind alle unterschiedlich charmant und die Gemeinschaftsräume, sowie der Innenhof hatten genug Platz, dass wir alle immer zusammen sitzen konnten.
Auch die große Küche und die 2 großen Kühlschränke und die 2 Herde waren perfekt um jeden Abend gemeinsam für alle zu kochen.
Es haben sogar in ein paar wenigen Zimmern die Babyphone funktioniert, trotz der dicken Wände.
Die Gegend um das Schloss herum ist perfekt für lange Spaziergänge und man kann hier wirklich seine Ruhe genießen.

Wir hatten eine unglaublich schöne Zeit in dem Schloss, die Kommunikation mit Robert ( Gastgeber ) war super einfach und angenehm. Meine Freundin und ich haben dort 2 Nächte verbracht um uns das Schloss genauer anzuschauen, weil wir nach einem Ort für unsere Hochzeit suchen. Wir kommen aus Berlin und das Schloss ist nur 2 Std von Berlin entfernt und super zu erreichen. Schon mit dem eintreffen war man etwas von dem ganze n verzaubert ein wirklich schöner und magischer Ort, wor mussten gar nicht viel Zeit verstreichen lassen, bis uns klar war das wir hier unsere Hochzeit feiern wollen. So unglaublich viel Platz, ein so schönes Gebäude und trotzdem bequeme Betten. Wir freuen uns riesig diesen Ort entdeckt zu haben und dort unsere Feier ausrichten zu dürfen.

Schön anzusehen, leider war uns nicht möglich, den Schlossinnenhof zu besichtigen...Schloßpark klein und fein

Traumhafter, ruhiger Ort - nur 1,5 Stunden von Berlin entfernt. Tolle Luft, nette Leute und schön eingerichtet. Ich fand's ideal, um mal vom Stress der Stadt runterzukommen. Meine Tochter hat den ganzen Tag draußen gespielt und ich konnte im Schlossgarten entspannen. Danke für das tolle Wochenede! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Heute war ich zum ersten Mal im Schloss Schochwitz und muss sagen, es ist auf jeden Fall schöner, als es bisher auf Bildern zu sehen war. Das Trauzimmer war klein, aber dennoch speziel und schön eingerichtet. Laut den letzten Bewertungen hier soll die Schlossherrin böse drauf sein, dies kann ich nicht bestätigen. Ein sehr nette Frau. Man kann natürlich mehr aus dem Schloss herausholen, genau wie bei dem Gelände drumherum. Aber es ist dennoch schön, und im Vergleich preiswert.

Wunderschöner Ort.
Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe übers Wochenende dort zur Übernachtung. Die Zimmer waren sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtetas und warm. Frühstück war vielfältig und lecker. Sehr nettes Personal vor Ort, die uns auch eine kleine Führung durch das Schloss gegeben haben.
Komme gerne mal wieder vorbei.
