Indisches Restaurant KASHMIR - Leonberg

This is for the Leonberg location. This was an absolutely beautiful experience. I have been to a lot of Indian restaurants because my wife is a huge fan, though it's usually hard for me to find something I like. Kashmir is amazing!! The menu is guaranteed to have many things on it that even the pickiest eater will try. The food is absolutely wonderful. There are so many great flavors and heat. The heat will not be so bad as to mask the great flavors. It was so amazing that I ordered a dish to go so I could have it for lunch the next day, and it was great as well. The staff is wonderful and welcoming. They will take care of anything you need and are ok with making any substitutions for you. You will leave full, happy, and very appreciated

One of the best Indian restaurants I know of in Leonberg and around. Authentic food, well prepared and tasty. The location is fittingly decorated but only indoors on the first floor.

One of the best restaurants in Stuttgart/Leonberg area. Great service and always good ambience. High quality, authentic Indian cuisine. They will adjust the level of spiciness according to your need. Centrally located in Leonberg but also has a branch. Expensive than usual Indian restaurants but that is balanced by the great fine dining experience.

This review is about my third visit to this restaurant. We went to the Kashmir restaurant yesterday evening to celebrate two birthdays and were - once again - not disappointed by the quality of the food or service. When we arrived (without a reservation), I was surprised just how full the place was, but we got a table, thank goodness! Given the number of customers that were waiting for food, it wasn't surprising that it took a while for our food to arrive, but when it did, it was well worth waiting for. The vegetarian option, "Shahi Paneer" was especially delicious! I tried a little bit of the vegetarian dishes that my daughter and her boyfriend ordered and ended up only eating half of my food, so we asked the staff if they would pack up the left-overs for us. Which they did and then, by accident, we ended up leaving one of the packages behind. One of the staff - a rather cheeky but friendly chappy - told us that he ran after us and down into the underground car park, to no avail, but, fortunately, we realised what had happened when we got to the car and went back. The food was still waiting for us, thank goodness! When I opened it up for lunch today, it had been beautifully packed into foil cartons containing individual compartments for the different dishes, plus I am sure they added some extra rice, too! I am glad I gave the staff a generous tip! Next time I will take my own containers for the left-overs as the portions are quite large and we haven't usually managed to finish everything.
As far as spiciness is concerned, we have found that "medium" is quite hot and "mild" is very mild. I would like a hotness level between "mild" and "medium", if possible, next time. And my tip to other diners: if you want to go on a Friday evening at around 8pm, reserve a table to avoid disappointment!

Great place to grab tasty indian dishes! Korahi chicken and naan bread was delicious! Quantity was great for 1 person if you are quite hungry. I was surprised by the portion of naan, it was perfect!

Will definately return for some more!

Always amazing food. We dine here when we can and often get take out. Both are always impeccable. I am so thankful to have authentic Indian food in our town. This place is the real deal. You won’t regret it. My kids love it too. Go go go go!

Amazing, authentic and delicious. I am from Washington DC where we have many Indian restaurants but this is by far my favorite! The place looks so full of culture and art. If you plan to visit Kashmir for dinner, especially Friday and Saturday, you should definitely make reservations...the place was COMPLETELY reserved when we visited. The staff is also very friendly and they are more than willing to assist customers pick items off the menu. We will be back!!!

Exact Indian Taste!! And the ambience makes you feel you are in India.

Food is really good here . One of the most authentic Indian food joint. The staff is friendly. Bit pricey but the taste compensates all. We asked them to make the food more spicy and hot. They made it really hot. Awesome it was.
