Sublime food - a great seasonal selection composed of asparagus as we're in the season at the moment, and traditional Ukrainian dishes.

Service was friendly and fast but unobtrusive, can't ask for more. Reasonably priced - 56€ for a starter to share and a main and a drink each.

Cannot highly rate enough!

Ran by a Ukrainian and German couple, the place blends authentic cuisine from both regions to perfection. Service and atmosphere is some of the best I have experienced in Germany and I genuinely cannot believe the quality of the food given how reasonably priced the menu was.

The Pelmeni were so authentic and good it took me right back to when I last visited Lviv.

I will certainly be returning with family and friends in the near future!

Vegan vareniki and vegan borscht were absolutely delicious! I also loved seasonal vegan menu, especially the Kiev dessert was fantastic. I’ll definitely come again 😍

Fantastic food! Stuffed pasta with asparagus was amazing and also the schnitzel was massive and tasty. Very nice little place with fast service and nice vibes.

This is definitely one of the best places with authentic Ukrainian food in Berlin! We had some vareniki and salo, accompanied by Ukrainian beer. Everything was delicious and the staff were super friendly! 10/10 will come again :)

Amazing service and delicious food! I can confirm that the other reviewers who mentioned how good the potato wareniki and honeycake are. The Kiev Mule, where the vodka comes from Ukraine, is appropriately, both strong and bitter. As the proprietor allowed me to buy an extra for take-away, I look forward to being very happy when I get home!

This Bistro Cafe really has something for everyone. From a diverse selection of drinks to homemade food that is sure to delight.

I highly recommend the Ceasar salad. It is fresh and true to what a Ceasar is supposed to be.

The menu is changed daily. On our visit we were delighted by the homemade pumpkin soup. I enjoyed the daily special of spaghetti bolognese which is what you would expect your mother to serve. It was all freshly prepared and clearly the chef is experienced.

My spouse had the pumpkin ravioli with pickled pumpkin. It was really light and fresh and yet complex in flavor.

The ambiance of this place is clean and crisp and quite comfortable.

Service was personable.

Restrooms were clean.

Highly recommend this place for a quick bite to eat of coffee or cake as well as an evening full of good drinks and fresh homemade food.

They serve Ukrainian dishes, I ordered Wareniki and Honey Cake. Wareniki was tasty and filling. The Honey Cake was delicious (just the right amount of sweet). Love it! 🧡 The owner was really friendly too.

Situated in the beautiful Kastanienallee street, this cozy restaurant-cafe is a place you should not miss when visiting Berlin.
The service, the food and especially those yummy desserts, deserve nothing short of 5 stars.

I love it! My husband and I wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary in a Ukrainian restaurant, that’s why we’ve chosen this one.

Borscht here - is a work of art! Super tasty. It’s vegan but very authentic, similar to what my mom cooks.

Besides that, we really enjoyed the Honey cake and meatballs.

The place is super cozy and the people there are nice and welcoming.

Definitely coming back.

It’s hard to fault either the food or the staff at this lovely little place in Berlin. I had the ox cheek with mashed potato and pumpkin, and then Apple strudel with vanilla sauce, and they were both delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the prices were reasonable. If I lived in Berlin I’d come here regularly.

great restaurant and food. but message to the owners — one person who is responsible for the orders inside, outside, delivery, making cocktails and etc is not okay totally. that was horrible scene to observe how one girl is running around and doing everything. do something with that and don’t be so greedy. hire more people for the service

Must visit in Berlin for a contemporary take German food!
Open since October 2020, the food and service here are both excellent. A fantastic seasonal menu to served by enthusiastic staff. Both Maultaschen (pasta) and Schnitzel were great - Schnitzel especially was crisp and tender. By the end of the meal, the food and service had me feeling like a local!

Absolutely fantastic food! You can taste how fresh the pierogies are. The fried goat cheese appetizer over pumpkin was also impressive and unique :)

Two sweet servers made my day! The main (veal schnitzel) was excellent, however dessert was not all that good. But, the servers were so warm and kind I forgive.

One of the best meals I’ve had. Family owned restaurant, owner and his wife are waiter/checker. Everything was just amazing. I had a slow cooked beef in wine sauce that was superb quality. Other dishes are Ukrainian with real home made touch. Also some Italian and Vienna vibes. I was very happy that they could make a risotto for my girlfriend without dairy using a creative idea on the spot! (pumpkin soup) It was really good and it shows they are flexible and care , like a real chef’s place. Not so common these days. Just wow

This restaurant is one of the milestones in this neighborhood. It is a nice restaurant with a lot of options and opportunities to the food around. The Salo is my favorite, the Ukrainian bacon, pickles and a Wodka gives me memories of my travels into the east back in the days.
