Restaurant Zum Fäßlewirt in Sasbachwalden

We came later in the evening without a reservation hoping to get a table. We got lucky and were seated at what looked like the only remaining table on the patio. The service was excellent even though the staff were quite busy. We needed an extra minute to decide which meals to order and the staff were very patient. The food was excellent. One of us had a salad, which seemed very fresh. The meal was a good size, filling but not too heavy. One of us had the lamb, which was cooked perfectly and the sauces/sides were excellent. We ordered our meals with low salt, as we find most restaurants in Germany use more salt than we are used to, and it was perfect. We had to wait a little bit for our meals, but we thought the timing was great for how busy they were. We thought the prices were very reasonable for what we got, especially compared to another restaurant we went to. Overall; our compliments to the kitchen staff and servers.

******The Verdict******

The Place: absolute stunning! Its like a mixed of old Victorian Era with French/German Twist. Its old baygone era atmosphere as soon as you come inside.

The People: Friendly and one can feel the hospitality of a genuine 5 star resto. Very commendable.

The Food: Speachless. I ordered Buttered Snails with garlic and parseley, I love it. No bad after taste and it was somehow marinated? Taste really intense in a good way. Got also Argentinian Steak with caramelized onion and grilled side vegetables. The Steak is cooked to perfection and with good aged quality, it delivers an exquisite taste. The Vegetable sides are cooked to its goodness. The Salad that comes to it has a very dressing that compliments the freshness of the ingredients.

The Price: Reasonable and very competitive. For quality dishes they served, it is in its acceptable price cap.

Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Perfect Score. Will definitely come here again and very recommendable place for tourist.

The food is excellent (highly recommend the sirloin steak, it was 💯, also comes with salad, fries, and green beans rolled in bacon). Having in mind everything is included, prices seem ok, even though on first glance it seemed a bit pricy. But the food was definitely worth it. The service was great and the atmosphere was very cosy.

Omg! An amazing place to eat!!! Prices are fair, food was delicious! All four of us loved it! The salad was just yummy, would really recommend it for vegetarians!!!

Absolutely amazing! First I must start by saying that both the outside terrace and the inside of the restaurant are beautiful. There is a really cozy atmosphere created here. The food is as amazing. I loved the käse flammkuche while my girlfriend really enjoyed her chicken with pasta as well. The crème brûlée is a nice worthy dessert too. All of these for democratic prices. Last but not least, we wish to express our special thanks to the lady who was our hostess. She was so kind and paid attention to the details. Well deserved 5/5.

Lovely service, dinner, wine, and cocktails. We enjoyed ourselves on the patio with a large delicious salad, fresh pasta, and rustic bread. Regional wine, beer, and gin are also offered.

Really nice restaurant, great food. Big outdoor seating area. Lots of mixes to choose from. Be certain to also drink some local wine with your food.

Great little restaurant the best food so far on our 14 day trip and we're on day 12 I had the meat special, really great flavours, would recommend a detour to eat here

Essen sehr gut und schön angerichtet. Das Auge isst mit 😉.
Nicht zu teuer und die Familie hat drum herum ein tolles Ambiente geschaffen.

La comida muy rica, la presentación de los mismos muy cuidada, no te puedes perder los postres, el servicio muy rápido en comparación con otros restaurantes de la zona. Las camareras muy amables, nos pudimos comunicar en inglés sin problema.
Nosotros en verano tuvimos muchas moscas en nuestra mesa pero por lo visto es normal aquí.

Absolute Empfehlung! Wir gehen viel und gerne aus Essen. Ich habe jedoch selten so einen guten Salatteller gesehen. (Leider hat meine ihn Frau bestellt). Mein Fllammkuchen war aber auch grandios. Großes Lob an den Koch❤ Ich bin auch noch nachhaltig von den schönen Bonsais und dem Ambiente beeindruckt.
Wenn wir mal wieder vor Ort sind, werden wir definitiv wiederkommen.

Nach einer erfolgreichen Tour zu den Gaishöll-Wasserfällen und einer gelungenen Durchquerung eines Teils des Schnapsbrunnen-Rundwanderweges kehrten wir zum Ausklang beim Fässlewirt ein.
Es ist ein wunderschön angelegtens, uriges und mit viel Liebe eingerichtetes Lokal zuzüglich einer tollen Terrasse.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.
Das Essen war wirklich ober lecker und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
Es sollte aber vorher reserviert werden.
Es sind Parkplätze vor dem Lokal vorhanden.

Bel locale,con tavoli all'aperto,e sale interne molto eleganti. Ottimo menù con proposte varie ed originali. Scelta di birre e vini. Personale molto gentile,paziente e disponibile. Nell'attesa la cucina ci offre un frullato di frutta del luogo con panna ottimo. Il piatto di anatra con insalata,frutta e salse miste era ottimo, pure la mia tortilla fiammata. . Ottima anche la presentazione o impiattamento. Prezzo adeguato .

Wir waren am Samstag im Fäßlewirt zum Essen. Wir sind auf der schönen Terrasse mit tollen Ausblick gesessen und haben sehr lecker gegessen. Als erstens gab es einen Salat und danach hatte ich einen Sauerbraten und Manu Zander auf Nudeln. Beides war sehr gut zubereitet. Die Bedienung war jeder Zeit freundlich und aufmerksam. Zum Nachtisch gab es noch einen Kaiserschmarren. Wir waren Rundum zufrieden und kommen wieder.

Ottimo questo ristorante. Abbiamo prenotato per tempo, anche se forse avremmo trovato posto. La responsabile è molto carina accogliente e sorridente disponibile. Il menù è solo In tedesco. I piatti sono oltre che belli ottimi prezzo corretto. Servizio impeccabile. Attesa un po' lunga ma dipende cosa ordinate le pietanze sono cotte al momento. Carino il benvenuto due sorbetti di frutta buonissimi.
