Craftbier Bar Balthasar

This is absolutely one of the best bars in Bonn, hands down. Me and my friends loved coming here every other Wednesday for the quiz hosted by Ananth, the best quiz master in the world! Oliver, the guy who runs the bar is also great, and the entire staff here creates a great atmosphere for everyone who stops by. It’s really easy to start to feel like a regular here which we really enjoyed. Beyond the great ambience, they have a massive selection of beer on the menu, so it’s an awesome spot for beer lovers. I give this place my highest compliments, if you’re in Bonn, and looking for a bar to have some drinks with friends, enjoy some trivia, and just have a good time, definitely stop by!!!

The vibe is amazing here. The variety of beer is astonishing. Some of the beer names on the menu are so tantalising that you just want to try it. Highly recommended if you want to taste something else than the regular Kölsch.

Love this bar. Proper IPA's and craft beers. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great selection of draft and bottled beer. Can't wait to Come back to Bonn to revisit. :)

A great and incredibly atmospheric corner of Bonn, where you can find some very interesting representation of craft beers.

This place has given us a home on Wednesdays, a home with great beer and even better staff!
If you are in Bonn, this place is a must visit.

Great beer in a great location. Friendly staff with a brilliant selection of beer, on tap and bottled. The owner took the time to sit and chat with us and it’s obvious that he loves what he does, which is reflected in the chilled out & welcoming atmosphere he’s created. I can’t wait to return and continue to work my way through the fantastic beer menu. Thoroughly recommend this place.

Amazing staff and overall service, great selection of beers for a good price as well. The trivia nights on Wednesdays are always a highlight!

Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Excellent selection of beer and schnapps. If you can get the apple cake schnapps, it is amazing.

Great place, just didn't love being called a lady when I'm very clearly a queer.

It was one of the best places I have been. I loved everything, the atmosphere, the people and especially the quiz nights. When I come back I fro sure will come here again l. Tha k you for everything!!!!

This is truly a nice bar in Bonn the bartender/owner was extremely friendly and helpful with a huge selection of draft beer and over 100 options for bottled ones.

I must note that we visited this place way too early in the afternoon when they literally had just open therefore you will see no customers on the pictures but I’ve talked to locals and they mentioned that they get super busy.

Being there that early gave us the opportunity to spend a great quality of time with the owner I am sure that if we ever go back to Bonn We’ll Stop by and enjoy their large selection of beers.

Excelent atmosphere. If you go there more than once they are sure to remember your name. Their theme nights, and pub quiz nights are a must visit

Staff was friendly (I don't speak German), there's a good line up of beers on draft (nine at the moment), and there seems to be a good rotation on what's available. Regarding variety, you will find the kind of beer you crave!

Amazing place, really great atmosphere for a chill drink and they have a cool pub quiz from time to time!

Family owned Brew pub and hotel. Several local and international beers on tap. Around 100 different bottle beers. Stays open late. Food was really good. Nice owners. Had a really nice vibe, well lit and clean; a fun bar.

Fantastic craft beer bar. An owner brewing himself with all the passion necessary to be a great host. 150 beers (bottle) and a changing selection on tap. Loved it. Gana come back soon.
