Hotel am Markt Bacharach, Dettmar

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3-nights-stay here. Had booked the Deluxe Suite with Whirlpool. While the decor may not be to everyone's taste - the bed was huge and comfortable, the shower was spacious and luxurious. The breakfast buffet was extensive and offered something for everyone. Would absolutely recommend!

Loved our 2 night visit here - the views from the attic room are incredible and the staff was lovely.

We had an excellent stay here. They are going for a boutique hotel vibe. The location is perfect; it’s right in the center of town. Air conditioning worked great which is hard to come by in Germany. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious. Room was spacious and felt luxurious. Highly recommend!

Historic hotel in a perfect location. New renovations are very nice, the bed was comfortable and breakfast was well stocked with all the normal things! Staff was very friendly went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. Highly recommended

Lovely hotel in center of Bacharach close to all tourist sites. Reception was helpful and room was clean and quite large—with comfortable bed. Would recommend!

given the time of this review, during corona, this was an excellent stay. Breakfast was served with a full choice of cold cuts and cheeses as well as eggs any style plus breads, Müslis, fruits etc. just like during normal times while maintaining all distancing rules.
my room was spotlessly clean with a good bed and optional A/C, as is noted in the room. If you don't use A/C, you don't have to pay for it, i liked that. It encourages guests to save energy and not to waste it, as they otherwise often do - because "they paid for it".
i am guilty of that myself, i admit it.
apart from all of that, this hotel is modern on the inside, old on the outside and the perfect place smack in the middle of Bacharach - the birthplace of Frankenstein ... which i think is the nicest town in the entire area.

Would stay in this town again, definitely. And this hotel was well appointed but also felt like a boutique. The breakfast was good. And the town was out of a fairy tale. The sidewalks roll up early, so it is best for an early evening.

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a Rick Steves tour. Beautiful room with air conditioning and good amenities, delicious food, great and friendly service. Would come back again!

Very friendly staff. Family run. Really good food. Really good rooms. If you are looking for a "home base" when exploring the Rhine and Mosel rivers this is the perfect place. Town is located along the Rhine. Vineyards and castles dot the landscape wherever you look. You are also a quick drive to the Mosel.

This is very old hotel with newly refurbished rooms. Very modern. They only do breakfast on property at present. But have a restaurant as part of the property. Great location in Nauheim.

Perfect location. Enjoyed the clean and quiet room, nice breakfast, and kind owner. It is an ideal place to stay as a solo traveller.

We went here for a weekend with family. The rooms was very nice and we had a great time on the terrace drinking sparkling wine in the evening.

Stayed at the hotel, amazing place. Food was really awesome. In this beautiful small town vintage town, this is a perfect place to stay.

Great hotel with excellent location and service. Our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive till after check in time but the staff was nice to provide instructions for our exceptions.

Good rooms, recently renovated, ok price. Located right in the middle of town. Ok breakfast and good lunch/dinner.
