Im Malerwinkel

We had a wonderful stay! Our room was comfortable, well organized and spotless. Great location and very responsive owners. The garden is absolutely beautiful and the view of the nearby vineyards was amazing.I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bacharach!

Beautiful garden to sit with a beer at the end of the day. We loved the self-serve beer and wine fridge concept. You can have coffee any time of the day. Breakfast is filling. The hotel is stunning with old charm that has been kept up well. The room had everything you need. Walking distance to everything in town. Free parking! The owner was wonderful and welcoming. The gentleman serving breakfast was also the nicest. Highly recommend.

Im Malerwinkel is a great inn. The garden has a little brook that is so peaceful. The host is really nice and the rooms are quite nice. The only downside is the showers are small but that's common in Europe. We will happily stay here again. Also keep in mind they are cash only.

This Hotel is one of the nice hotels, the food was great, the flower gardens were spectacular and the rooms were clean! We liked that it was not in the heart of town but within minutes you could be where you wanted. We definitely will come back to this one! Just loved the town of Bacharach!

A very nice and beautiful historic town and a lovely hotel! Wonderful location in the town with convenient spacious parking next to hotel. It has a very beautiful garden that you can sit there and just enjoy. Owners are very friendly. The breakfast is super. One thing is in the summer, it may have mosquitoes and since there is no air conditioner (which is very very common in Europe), if it is hot, you have to choose open the window, or keep the mosquitoes out. Be sure to also walk around the town wall, the vine garden just on the hill next to hotel. There is a tower in the vine garden, it may open sometimes that you can climb up the tower to have a wide view of Bacharach and Rhine river. I also climbed to the ruined wall on the hill at the dust, enjoyed a different night view of the town and Rhine river. Be sure to taste some wine or Riesling from Bacharach. Plenty of restaurants around so you have different choices each time during your stay. See my other posts for the restaurants and ice cream shop. We wish we will visit here again.

We had a great time at this beautiful, homely, family run hotel. Everything about the hotel, the location, the hosts and the little garden is a pleasure and added to the charm of our stay at Bacharach. We would love to visit again.

This place is wonderful. this hotel, the streets, the town. it's people.
A memory for a lifetime . Stay a few days. walk around, eat outside, drink some wine. Enjoy.

Frankenstein's hometown, really.

I don't know much about the hotel but I've heard it's very nice. My reason for going here was to enjoy the magical garden behind the hotel. If you visit Bacharach you have to stop by this garden.

Die Pension "im Malerwinkel" liegt zentral in Bacharach und bietet einen idealen Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Region. Bis zum Rhein und die Schiffsanleger sind es ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß.
Die Zimmer sind sauber und gepflegt.
Das, im Preis enthaltene, Frühstück ist gut und ausreichende Auswahl ist vorhanden. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Super freundliches Team in allen Bereichen ! Nicht abgehoben, man fühlt sich direkt wohl. WLAN kostenlos. Gemütlicher Garten zum Entspannen. Frühstück alles da, diverse Brot und Brötchen Sorten, Aufschnitt, Marmelade, Joghurt, Quark usw. Kaffee oder Tee wird serviert. Jedes Zimmer bekommt einen Tisch zugewiesen, so hat man keinen Stress mit der Platzsuche. Zentral gelegen, Bahnhof gut fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir kommen gern wieder und freuen uns auf das Team und den schönen Ort.

Ein wunderbares Hotel im Malerwinkel in Bacharach mit sehr schönem Garten. Die Lage ist einmalig, ruhig und direkt in der Natur ohne Autos. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wunderschöne Pension, freundliche Gastgeber, idyllische Lage und ein tolles Frühstück. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
