We ate here due to the Google reviews and they proved they fully deserve them. We had to come back the second evening, just because the food and service is so great. Both evenings the service and food were constant. A massive massive compliment on how good this restaurant cooks his food, treats their guests and gives you a great evening out. Many restaurants can learn something from this place! Please keep this up and give more people this experience.

Very delicious food and quick friendly service. We ordered curry wurst, salad and roast pork in a pan with cabbage salad and bread dumpling. Everything was very tasty especially the fries that came with the curry wurst.

Lovely place with beautiful wood finishes. The food was beyond delicious. We started off with the tartare with the black bread and this is among the best tartare I’ve had. Then for our mains, we had the veal spare ribs, the pork knuckle, the beef roast and the char. Each dish was exquisitely prepared with flavours complimenting each other really well. For dessert, we shared the mousse. Glad we came upon this place and enjoyed our meal!

Very nice place to eat. Quite a few vegetarian options, which was great! We enjoyed the traditional food and the service. Would come again if we weren't just passing by on holiday :)

We came to this restaurant both nights we were in town, and had the most amazing experience. Our waiter was the nicest young man and we were lucky to have him both nights in a row! I’m not sure what his name is, but he had lighter hair and he was the PERFECT waiter! The pork roast in a pan was our favorite dish. We will definitely come back to our new favorite restaurant in Germany :)

Amazing restaurant! We went there twice and every time it was delicious (beef goulash and burger). The waiters/waitresses were very kind. I loved my evenings there and I recommend a 100% 👌

Friendly place with a n English menu available and a waitress who spoke reasonable English. Service was a bit slow as they were very busy. On our previous visit they were very good.

Been here twice in a row now. This place has amazing food and beer and are well priced for the food they serve. The chef's do an amazing job and I was very happy with the food we got on both occasions. Waiters are hard working but are happy and treat you well which is a great bonus. Overall would definitely recommend this beer garden!

tasty meals, big portions, nice staff, great service!! enjoyed my starter "Brotzeit" together with tomato salad, which i could hardly finish. it seems to be very busy, so it's better to reserve if you are coming after 7 p. m. however the staff is doing everything to find you a place :)

Friendly service even with the language difference. The food was very good as well as the beer. Great beer garden. The staff was very quick to move everyone inside when it started to rain.

Stayed in the area and ate there for three nights in June. The restaurant has been under new ownership since 2019. The food was delicious every time. Our waiter who is the second manager, a young Austrian fellow, was terrific. A storm blew in on the second night as we were dining outside, blowing tents over, and the waiters scrambled to accommodate every customer who had been dining outside and moved them inside. Has a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend to anyone staying near Koenigsee.

This is my favourite spot for dining out in Berchtesgaden. It has a lovely homely feel despite it being a large restaurant. Service is very efficient and menu as you can expect with a Bavarian restaurant. Quality of the food is spot on, with various pork and veal dishes, tasty beers and cocktails alongside traditional music in the evenings. My son has Veal Ribs and Wedges which left him in heaven. My own go to meal was the Schweinsbraten which consists of delicious and tender pork loin, bread dumplings and both warm sauerkraut and cold traditional bavarian cabbage. I've visit the place for dinner perhaps 12 times so far on 3 trips and it never fails to please me

We popped in during the limited menu period between lunch and dinner/supper. The limited menu had several great options and was quite appealing.

Excellent meals, Bier, and staff. You will neither go hungry or thirsty. Highly recommended! We had multiple meals here, each was excellent.
