great, cozy ambience with attention to detail. very attentive and friendly service. a large selection of drinks. The menu is not to big, but it is difficult to decide because everything sounds delicious. i am so happy that i came here. Everything I have tried I would order again.

Truly phenomenal. Ambiance was upscale but comfortable. The food was far beyond expectation. A truly hidden gem.

Deliciousness! First, wonderful bread with little selection of tasty spreads. Nicely dressed side salad...loved the green beans! Rolled schnitzel stuffed with mushrooms and veg, topped with creamy rich gravy! So good theres no room for dessert!

Josef’s place has been our favorite in all of Germany since 2002. He is a jewel, and the food is extraordinary.

The food was fantastic, great atmosphere. We were offered a seat at the bar, most of the time for me that would not be desirable but we really wanted to try this restaurant. The bar was perfect. We made a second reservation before leaving and requested to sit at the bar again. The staff were very friendly and we would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We got to eat in the tower! Beautiful town and building. Every meal course was fantastic. Should be considered for a Michelin star, high praises.

Beautiful restaurant, great atmosphere. Waiters and owner spoke very good English. We will indefinitely be returning very soon. Credit cards are accepted aswell. Perfect place to take your wife / girlfriend on a gorgeous night out with genuine traditional German food.

Delicious! A great place for a special meal. My husband adores their apple dumplings and vanilla sauce. I love their pork with goat cheese and pear. And their duet of mousses made me slow down and savor each bite.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Very friendly staff who speaks English, and had great recommendations on the menu. Authentic food in a very pretty little town, reasonably priced for the great quality. Will frequent again!

Great little place. A group of us were late out lookong for food. The owner was closed but enjoying a drink woth his wife outside. He opened his doors and made some amazing food for us all! Such hospitality matched only by the food
