Food is delicious, the place is beautiful and the service is excellent!

Great experience - food is delicious and served in huge portions. The pork knuckle was clearly the highlight of the meal. You’ll need to book to dine in during weekends, but it’s absolutely worth it. Service is on point too. So good that we went back twice!

Awesome food and beer! Well worth the visit if you are in the Pfronten area!

Great place to eat, busy and bustly with a fab atmosphere. Ate inside as weather poor, but plenty of outside space too. Drinks ordered and arrived speedily, food ordered from an English menu (we have very little German between us sadly...), and again, arrived speedily. Obviously freshly cooked, boys all happy with their shnitzels, and a delicious salad for me. Dessert also presented beautifully, all in all a great night out, reasonable prices and would happily eat here again.

Pfronten is a fabulous part of Bavaria and is a 4-season destination for many outdoor activities. I visited in March 2019 and enjoyed a small, yet powerful snowstorm for a day or two.

Needing some good food and drink, my friend and I hiked over to the Falkenstein and had a terrific meal complete with fine beer from the in-house brewery. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere old-school German woodwork and design, and the cost was what we expected a fine meal would be.

Very friendly Staff and Atmosphere. Highly recommended. Outside Bier Garden, very clean, Dogs allowed. Disabled access. Reservation a must otherwise you might wait 45mins. During holidays and weekends always full. Great Food! I will always come back.

These people were the best to accommodate a wary traveler who was hungry and didn't have a reservation. The restaurant was extremely busy but they still promptly seated us at a table reserved for a later time. The waitress was very kind and loved to speak English. The menu was plentiful with authentic German food and did I ever enjoy the Weißwurst and Dunkel Bier. YES.

If you want to experience the real German food and it's ambiance come to this place. Excellent food at a very reasonable price. Generous portions and great client service. A wider than normal juice selection and their own brewed beers. We came back every night and loved it. Wonderful patio to enjoy during the summer.

Awesome and quick service. Magnificent food and beer. Definitely reserve a table before coming, as it can get crowded.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and good food! Our food arrived very quickly (we even asked for some changes on the dishes, which was not a problem). Even if you don't drink beer (like us) it's a great place to have dinner and drinks!

A big local place for all the traditional German food you could want. I particularly recommend the Knödel/dumplings, and the Flädlesuppe

Awesome food and very delicious. You have a big variety of specialities of the allgäu area. The platter could be a little bit bigger but only because I'm a good eater.

My wife and I quite literally just ran into this place when we were staying in the area in May 2015. What a wonderful treat this place turned out to be! I tried all of their year-round beers and even bought a growler to go so I could drink it in our hotel room. Great service, great food and great Bavarian beer! The refillable growler is 1 liter and every time I have it refilled at my local Kansas City brewery I get asked where I got it. Prost!
