This spot is my go-to for German food. I absolutely adore their Käsespätzle and Schnitzel. They also serve incredible cream brûlée. Definitely worth making a reservation in advance!

A hidden gem in the heart of Berlin. We've had an amazing time here with great food and drinks, and amazing hosts! We found Altes by chance and spent multiple evenings there during our stay in Berlin (we tried almost everything on the menu). Carolyn is the most amazing hostess, providing top shelf service and recommendations for us to see during our stay. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Our Go-to-place for nice German food in the hood. Usually great quality. The place has a very nice atmosphere, is both casual and cosy as well. You can taste the original Berlin here. The staff is friendly and welcoming. If the weather is good you can sit outside as well, the street is very calm.

We had a wonderful experience and the schnitzel we got was absolutely delicious. The garden they have outside is lovely especially on a summer day.

Really nice place to sit outside or inside. Very central and yet calm. The food is fresh and delicious. We took the Burratina with tomatos and the Ceviche.

Highly recommended! The food and service is amazing -- I remember coming back several more times! It is good quiet place for tea break (good environment to read or relax) and it gets merrier during dinner time! In the event of good weather, there is alfresco dinning as well! You can get good coffee, cakes, wine, beer and food here!

Well done cocktails, and the food is delicious! I like their service. I recommend giving them a call for drinks or dinner with drinks.

We walked in as the kitchen was closing with a group of five and we still got the best meal we’ve had all week. Waiters speak English and you can pay by card, defenitly recommend

Great food, great vibes

Great Berlin restaurant with traditional German dishes in extremely generous portions. Very lively and busy with a good atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and accommodating despite the restaurant being extremely busy and even made space for us without a reservation and with the extra complication of a nervous dog.

Slightly off the tourist track and popular with locals if that’s what you’re looking for. Best Käsespätzle I’ve had and highly recommended.

Local German food at a very friendly price. The service is fluent in both English and German and the varying specials mean that every visit offers a new and always satisfying experience. A top pick for tourists and locals alike, especially with outside seating in summer!

Beautiful neighborhood Restaurant!

The staff were really friendly if a little slow with service. Food was very good though, perfect "home" taste and did not at all break the bank. Very good place to come and chill out outside.
