Paulaner Wirtshaus at Potsdamer Platz is a fantastic spot for anyone craving a hearty, authentic German meal. This place delivers on all fronts with its traditional Bavarian ambiance, excellent service, and mouth-watering dishes.

While the menu has all the German classics like sausages and pretzels, the standout for me was the pork chunk. It was cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and tender, juicy meat inside. The flavors were rich and satisfying – a must-try for any pork lover.

The service was prompt and friendly, making the experience even better. The staff was attentive and happy to recommend dishes or beer pairings, enhancing the overall dining experience.

However, there was one small downside – as soon as the pork arrived at our table, it seemed to attract a swarm of bees. It was a bit bothersome, and we had to keep shooing them away while trying to enjoy the meal. Despite this minor inconvenience, the quality of the food and the pleasant atmosphere made up for it.

Overall, Paulaner Wirtshaus Berlin offers an excellent taste of Bavarian cuisine in the heart of Berlin. If you can overlook the occasional bee buzz, you’re in for a superb experience. I’ll definitely be back!

We spent 8 days in Berlin and tried different restaurants. This is the best German food restaurant in Berlin in terms of food quality and client service.

Delicious and good-looking dishes. Nice environment. Service is a little confusing at the beginning that we had to help ourselves with seating and grabbing menus, starting from ordering service is great.

Always, if you want to have good and authentic Schweinshaxe, come to Paulaner. The environment was not bad and the dress on waiter/waitress was cute :)

It’s a great experience for me when I visited Berlin last earlier October. We tried sweinshaxe and a beer that I dont remember the name just told the waiter I would like a traditional german beer and it was good. The service, like the others said, is really good.

Very nice place to sit down and enjoy some German beer which is also supplied to octoberfest. Perfect place to try some local food. Wasn't too busy on new years eve, wasn't too expensive. Polite waiters and broad menu.

Great Bavarian atmosphere, amazing sausages and Beer. We loved the taste of most of the beers, it was fresh and chilled. All the sausages and chicken wings we ordered were tasty and well cooked. We were lucky to get the last table as it was full. Service was great as well, they were really helpful and were speaking nice English.

Paulaner was a great place to dine. The interior deco is awesome. The waiter was super nice and welcoming. The food arrived in a fairly good timing and it was tasty. Pricing was a bit expensive but the ambience and all makes it worth it. I like also the sitting areas within the restaurant. Very nicely designed. I’ll definitely recommend!👌🏾

Food slightly pricey compared to other similar restaurants but it was very tasty and the service was good.

Very welcoming staff and place right at Potsdamer Platz. RENE has a good sense of humor.
We had variety of German food and special Oktoberfest beer there.
The air-conditioning is well and the light is available in all locations.
The menu is well prepared in different languages.
There is a bit long way to rich the bath as it is located underground but its clean and well equipped.

An excellent European restaurant and a beer place right at Potsdamer Platz. It has some excellent beer on house. Best is that they describe the beee option and food pairing too. The food we tried was good. The ambiance is very nice and the staff is very helpful and friendly. A cozy place to relax and enjoy beer.

Very cosy place to visit in Berlin. We was very lucky in order to find this excelent place with delicous food, great coctails and beer decustation option. The atmosphere was silence and cosy, service was hight quality! Recommend!

We had a fantastic evening here - highly recommend the beer tasting menu it’s super fun and each type of beer came with description cards. Attentive and friendly service. We didn’t have any food but it smelt lovely when the waiters walked by :)

Fancied something a bit more traditional whilst visiting Germany and was not disappointed. Had a litre of beer and the biggest pork joint I've ever seen. It was so good that my wife really considered breaking her 6 year vegetarian diet! Am now slipping into a food coma after devouring it all. Great beer, great food, great atmosphere! 😁

This is one of my favorite restaurants around PotsdamerplatZ. It brings Bavaria to berlin, which is such a nice experience from the decoration to the sitting arrangement and the outfits of the waiters,Very exciting.

The staff are nice and attentive, they are very professional and courteous.

My favorite dish here is the pig medallions, to die for!!. Also waiting time to get your food isn’t long , very impressed with that as well.

Very good Bavarian style food. Great beer, with an Oktoberfest edition as well. Friendly staff and fast service. Modern style interior instead of traditional.
