My brother who lives in the area took me here for some very traditional German food. I know some of the local balk at the prices, but you get a delicious meal…they even have it on there menu saying while the prices are not cheap, the food is worth it.

Great location and unique interior as a former brewery. Service was great and spoke great English even though we didn’t need it. The jagerschnitzel with spatel was amazing! You can’t go wrong here. 5 different meals and 3 beers for around 100€

On a work trip to Klingemburg, I was treated to a short trip to Obernburg where you'll find the amazing Das Wirthshaus, which came highly recommended to me by a co-worker. This being my first time in Germany I instantly opted for the most local German fare available it did not disappoint. From the Hefe Wiezen beer to the wondering German food - this was perfect in ever way. Great staff, fair prices and an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Highly recommend.

Wonderful experience. Fast service. Schnitzel was large portion and delicious --good to share. Will return.
