Gaststätte Hirschbräu Leipheim

This was the single most satisfying meal experience of my life. We left smiling and laughing, then continued to praise our hosts as we made our way to the Autobahn.

Short version:

Our host was amazing, the food was incredible, the Hefeweisen was tops, and the was bill was extremely reasonable. I know this sounds like hyperbole, but we were so impressed that we are trying to rework part of our visit that we can return.

Excellent choice of rustic Bavarian food. Owner loves English visitor's :-). You can get English version of menu but its recommended that you have at least 'Schoolboy" German language skills. Own produced beers on tap are very good. Did not accept Card payments so check you have cash first otherwise its a quick run into the town centre for an ATM.

We came here whilst visiting Legoland. Great food, very large portions, lovely salad. Child friendly. Friendly service. Highly recommended!
