Theater im Hafen

We saw the Lion King and loved it! I'm American and don't speak fluent German. However, if you've seen this in English, you will still fully appreciate it. I absolutely loved the performance. I can't believe how many years this show has been performing. Its incredible and the people I met were all so very kind. We took the boat there and back was so pretty at sunset. Highly recommend!

Very nice music Hall. I was on musical Der König der Löwen" And it was really amazing (July 2024). I reccomend this masterpeace. Price Is Worth for everyone who knows the story and want to experience it in real life form.

You will need money for the super expensive food that they sell. And if you are feeling crazy rich. There's ba beautiful restaurant there too

Located on on one of the few Islands in Hamburg. Frozen and the Lion king are next to each other and even share the same parking lots. Outside the 2 Buildings, there aren't much anything else outside warehouses or companies. Don't expect to find a restaurant or supermarket on this very island. The best way 2 get there is eventually to Park on the other side of the river (Elbe) and get the shuttles in order to cross it straight to the theaters. (free of charges/included in the tickets).

Fantastic experience here....Was here for a musical....THE LION KING...My first time at all for musical....Jusz so touching n seemed so real ....Just wow....Wanna visit places if u have time n money...Ticket costs r a little high depending where u wanna sit but u can always take risk by waiting for the last minute offers on the ticket as it can really lower the prices...Overall a great experience and wanna come back again...

Great show. Der könig der Löwen. The actors were phenomenal & the costumes are out of this world.

We went to watch the lion king. We paid alot to sit on tge top balcony but it was totally worth it. Sitting on the ground floor you miss parts of tge act. We got the ferry across. No one was even checking for tickets

Eiskönigin (Frozen)A beautiful musical even if you don't like fantasy. A great Performance with surprises and great Actors and voices.

It was a great Show! We got goosebump during the Show. Hope the Frozen II will coming soon. :)

Very good organization. Shuttles are available 1h 30 before the show. Once at the theater there are restaurants and bars. The sound, lights and mise en scène are great.

Amazing show! Great view and the parking nearby was also good.

I recently saw Der Köning Der Löwen here and the show was absolutely phenomenal. The staging, costuming, and performers were wonderful. The theatre itself is very nice, extremely classy.

Amazing show and actors and great atmosphere.

The show was great and was very easy to get too. Once you get to the harbor it is easy to find the ferry that brings you across the river right to the theatre. The ferry comes very frequently going to the theatre and after the show it also comes very frequently. The line up is seemingly long to get back but the line goes very fast. When on the grounds of the theatre you are treated to excellent views of the harbor and the new Elbephilharmonie. It was nice to relax and watch the ships go by before the start of the show. The only downside was that the concessions at the theatre were extremely expensive.

Amazing show. Every performer gave an exceptional showing. I don't speak German however through their acting and story telling I was enthralled from start to finish. Beautiful show

What can I say, a childhood dream coming true with the lion king, loved the performance, also the whole theater appears predestined for these kind of shows, great experience all in all ,would give 6 stars

Lion King - in German - A wonderful experience. All this love for detail and these amazing animals come to life. A must see for everyone who likes the movie and/or musicals
