If your into Buddha this is the place to go.... this must be the biggest collection of Buddha`s in Europe from dinky small to huge from all over Asia The place has a wonderful karma/aura

This extremely interesting Budda collection museum seems a little out of place in the Mosel Valley of Germany and most people think...huh! I wonder? ...We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here where the staff was very nice, served some great coffee and allows you to pray and meditate as you walk through the museum.

Buddas from all over the world, some very ancient and others symbolic of people in Asian lands from Thailand to China it was fascinating to learn and see all the different Buddas - it may not be on your tour but if you have a bit of time it is unforgettable.

Excellent museum to kills some time and have a coffee in the garden on top of the building. Thousands of Buddha's from all over Asia live in this private museum. The entrance fee for adults is 15€ which isn't bad as this museum is funded by tickets. This isn't a government funded museum.

A most wonderful museum. Artifacts do need more information re acquisition, history and age.

Enchanting, should you have the good Fortune to come her, bring some Time with you! We were in there for 5 our's you can have a very good coffee! Also can you lieve and later on come back till about 5.

This is a must go to in Traben Trarbach. Wonderful Buddha's from all over the world. The building where the museum is located also has a rich history.

Wir haben es uns oft vorgenommen und dann am 21.08.2024 im Rahmen einer spontanen Moseltour den Besuch endlich umgesetzt. Es war einfach nur phantastisch! Wenn man (wie wir), ein Faible für den Buddhismus hat und dazu gerne noch was zu diesem Thema lernen möchte, der ist im Buddha Museum zu 100% richtig. Wir waren echt überwältigt, in welchem Umfang und Dimension hier die vielfältigen Varianten des Buddhismus nach Ländern und Epochen dargestellt und vermittelt wurden. Auf 4500 m2 wurden unzählige Exponate ausgestellt. Absolut genial! Wir können das Buddha Museum auf jeden Fall uneingeschränkt empfehlen und die 15€ pro Person waren durchaus gerechtfertigt.

Das Buddha Museum bietet seit 2009 eine beeindruckende Sammlung von ca. 2000 kunstvollen Skulpturen in allen Größen auf 4.000 qm und lädt zu einer spirituellen Erfahrung ein.

Das wunderschöne Gebäude bietet auf der Dachterrasse einen einmaligen Blick über die Mosel.

Obwohl die Menge an Exponaten erst mal viel erscheinen mag, schafft die meditative Atmosphäre eine tiefe Ruhe.

Ein Besuch lohnt sich allein schon wegen der atemberaubenden Ausblicke und der faszinierenden Buddhasammlung.

Parkplätze gibt es vor der Tür!
