Madame Mai Hamburg

Extraordinarily friendly staff who speaks excellent English as well.
The food is interesting and very tasty. Everything is affordable and fair in pricing.
I hadn’t tried Vietnamese food before but I’m glad I was talked into it by my friends. 😄
Would come back.

I was sceptical about the "fusion" aspect of the restaurant, but was pleasantly surprised by the good food!

Made a reservation for 2 people on the same day (it was a Monday though). We had to wait a couple of minutes to be seated but was totally fine. Once we ordered, the plates arrived after what seemed less than 5 minutes... super fast, amazing. The restaurant is modern but with authentic oriental vibes. The design is simply beautiful, the atmosphere cozy. We had a great time and I totally recommend Madame Mai, either for a romantic date or a dinner with friends.

I loved it. Food was exceptional. Ambience really great and felt really relaxed. Just so great! Will be back when I’m next in Hamburg. I told everyone I know about this place!

Very nice Asian restaurant in Ottensen. I liked the decoration. Very nice and welcoming Staff.
I ordered Salmon, dumplings and pink ice tea. It was very tasty and I enjoyed it a lot. Really recommend this place.

Been here two times within a short period of time and was not disappointed. Better to have a reservation, but we manged to get a table after a short waiting period. Also great unusual dishes.

Great ambience! Good food for taste lovers. The restaurant is located in the middle of residence area, but you cannot miss it especially during summer.

The menu has pictures, which makes it easy to choose your meal. I have tasted my 3rd dish, and I cannot honestly say which of the three is the best- everything is so tasty, and so special.

This restaurant is amazing! The decoration is well set up with the modernized concept but also reflects the traditional aspects in every corner. The food is a balanced harmony of Asian spices with a very creative cooking style. I would recommend the tapas, which you could choose different dishes to try and have various tastes of food. It won't disappoint you with the choices. One thing you need to notice is the table reservation since they are always full even though under the week. Nice place, highly recommend

Great place for a group of people. The tapas make it really easy to order many different dishes and try them all. And they are all delicious. Cocktails are great, too!

It wasn’t our first time coming here. We felt nicely welcomed when we were recognized upon entrance and greatly enjoyed a less busy weekend. The food choices are great as always and servers were very patient and kind.

I recently dined at Madame Mai and was thoroughly impressed with the quality and taste of the food. The ingredients used in each dish were fresh and of the highest quality, which was evident in the flavors that burst in my mouth. The presentation of each dish was also beautiful, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend Madame Mai for anyone looking for a delicious and high-quality dining experience :D

A nice and spacious place to eat. Tasty food, and menu has in detail pictures for all dishes. One of the local gems is the option of tapas. Expect the bill on a higher side.

Amazing place, very cosy. Their Udon noodle is just perfect, texture and flavor wise. The mood drink is very tasty and refreshing. The order was delivered fast. Will come back :)

They changed up their menu recently and it really set them apart from other Viet restaurants in town!
The fusion combo is very unique. We tried Tom Yum Spaghetti, Udon Beef Bulgolgi and Fragance of Hoi An and all of them are balanced in terms of flavor, not to mention they all look extremely aesthetic.
The Yuzu Daiquiri cocktail with a Vietnamese chilli salt rim was a very fun drink which I would def recommend. Props to the bartender.

Great quality oriental food. You can taste they use good quality ingredients. We had the Udon Bulgogi Beef bowl: beef just right, veggies just right. Plates are original as is the setting. Will certainly come back.

We had a variety of tapas plates here. The duck breast is beautifully tender and juicy, and the shrimps are just exquisite. I highly recommend these dishes as well as the Mai's Salad.

Great place for Asian fusion food in Hamburg! Lovely atmosphere, even when it’s packed. Very good service, and that food, again, AMAZING!
