Cafe Extrablatt Ratingen

My first visit to Ratingen, pleased to find this gem, centrally located in the Market Place. Good range of gin (personal ice bucket a nice touch) and vegetation menu options. The apple crumble was delicious, just like it was home-made. The waiter was professional, friendly and attentive in a modern decor setting with decent music. I may go back to try the breakfast...

While over in Dusseldorf you won't go wrong by choosing this place as a stop over at least once. The food is super tasty and service is friendly and prompt. A nice atmosphere thst is relaxed and not too loud set in a lovely Square with medieval buildings now serving the modern world. I sat alone as there were a couple or areas a lone diner wouldn't feel out of place but it looks great for larger parties of people wanting a place to hang and eat great food in warm inviting setting. I recommend highly.

Before our trip to Kos for holiday we stayed one night in a hotel in Düsseldorf. We didn't want to eat at the hotel so we went into the town of Ratingen and ate at Extrablatt Cafe. We really recommend it. Friendly waiters, good food, good drinks, and good atmosphere! Also fun to be between the locals, we'd describe it as typical German bar/restaurant. The rest is for you to find out!

Simply adore it. I am talking about the terrace and the view. The perfect place. The ice-cream was also a delight
