Atmosphere: a very homely and cosy place

Service: the woman there was very very friendly and recommended us the off menu items that were being currently prepared in the kitchen.

Food: food was nice, we ordered the pumpkin soup, weissewurst, ratscafe omelette , a brezel, and a beer, total came out to be around 30 euros.

Everything was good, maybe with the exception of the omelet as it was around 10 euros which was a little overpriced in our opinion.

We had a great breakfast. The food was good with a good German breakfast choice. The service was prompt and professional. The prices were really good as well. We also got some strudel and it was well worth it. The kids really enjoyed their food too. I highly recommend this quaint little German restaurant.

Hot soup with beef is surprising. You should order with more spicy. You will not regret. The owner is friendly, good at English. She can recommend you the good food if you are not familiar with Bavaria food.

Awesome food and great service. They had English speaking staff, which made it very easy to order. I highly recommend it for English speaking tourists.

My father, brother and I ate there a few days ago. It's a lovely place that I would definitely recommend. The food was very good and the pricing was reasonable.

The menu is only in german but everything we tried was amazing despite being unsure exactly what would show up! The waitress was super kind and patient with our English. Definitely recommend!

Great little cafe with a WONDERFUL owner. We wanted to sit outside and take in the Mountain View, and not only did she think is weird, she brought out these amazing blankets and wrapped us up! Highly recommend their Weiss-wurst in bretzel! Vielen dank!!!

My husband and I had breakfast today at Rats cafe. We had delicious wiswurst, eggs, toast, croissants, pretzels, and lattes. We enjoyed talking to the owner and sitting in the quaint coffee shop. They are very willing to adapt their menu to what you feel like eating.

This was a fantastic breakfast/brunch place. We went to the bakery next door at first. Then decided to visit this cafe which blowed us away with its varied menu and possible combinations. You can have pretty much whatever you want and food was delicious. If you are nearby and need a hearty brunch then this is the place!

went there yesterday (4 feb, around 1 pm) to have lunch. usually i don”t write reviews, but this time i had to. besides the fact that the food, desert, coffee were delicious, the guy who served us has done a great job. you could see how polite and super attentive was with every single customer. big credit to him, hope his manager is aware what a good employee he has. i would definetly go there again if i would have the chance

Perfect lunch on our way to Munich. Exceptional food, outstanding service and a great view. Owner spoke English and was super friendly. If you're hungry in Garmisch this place is not to be missed :)
