Visited schloss augustusburg and came here for lunch before heading back to cologne.

Restaurant
The restaurant opens precisely at 12, and there were already crowds waiting in front of the restaurant.

The place offers indoor and outdoor seatings, but if you dont have reservation, chances are that you will be sitting outside.

Atmosphere was great, very relaxing.

Food
Besides the usual german fare, they serve seasonal menu and I decided to try white asparagus with pork madallion. It was tasty

I spent 35 euro for the main, 1 beer and 1 still water.

Incredible service, even more incredible food. We highly recommend this place, we will definitely stop if we are back in town again.

Great place to enjoy excellent food with good friends. The location is very nice, the staff very friendful and the view in front of restaurant is unique. I hope that I would be able to visit this restaurant again!

Really nice place: great selection of food, including vegetarian and vegan dishes. In summer, they have a special asparagus seasonal menu. I went for the Jägerschnitzel which was excellent. The beer garden is green and sunny but well shaded. Would fully recommend.

Nice environment and very good food. The portion is very big and tasty. Staff is ok and the price is average.

Do yourself a favor and go very hungry. The food was amazing, beverages were cold and refreshing. The pretzel was a great start to our shared meal. The ratatouille was amazing and complimented the rest of the meal perfectly.

Absolute top restaurant. You have to reserve up front as the place is allways full. The food is outstanding. Nice view at the castle when you sit at one of the front windows.

This is truly a no nonsense restaurant, you'll see people of all parts of society coming here. Staff is very friendly, food and drinks are delivered promptly. Very nice view from the front of the restaurant, looking down the lane in front of the castle.

Very nice restaurant with multiple vegetarian options on the menu. They also got 4 vegan options where you really get a tasty meat replacer in stead of what most restaurants would do is just not adding meat to a dish wich leaves you with only grain/potato/pasta and vegetables (as if vegetarians/vegans dont need protein...). Thank you for this very nice dinner and please come to Gent!

Quality food with great presentation. Daily lunch menus are appetising and good value. Right next to the train station, and a short stroll to the Schloss. Be sure to try one of the cakes for dessert!

Perfect family restaurant after a visit to Phantasialand

Great service, great food. The perfect stop for fresh German cuisine. Tip the waiter's they earned it!!
