Dorfschänke Lenggries

We discovered the Dorfschänke Lenggries on our way back from hiking with friends, #Bigfoot and #Littlefeet in the Jachenau.

What a beautiful place!

There are places where you immediately feel almost at home, the food is excellent and the service is very friendly.

We would have loved to have had another Helles or two Weissbier here, but we still had to drive on.

The location is popular with locals as well as hikers, cyclists, etc.

If you're in Lenggries, go here. The pub has an open oven on which meaty delicacies are grilled.

The prices are ok, the toilets are clean and tidy and the team here goes out of their way to impress guests of all ages.

Great cuisine. Súper atmosphere. Friendly service. This is where the locals hangout. We had assorted grill plate with potatoes and pickled sausage and cheese salad shared between two. More than enough food even after 80km bike ride. Dark wheat beer was superb.

This restaurant is a Gem. A lovely and cozy atmosphere which is perfect after a long and cold day of skiing or hiking in the nearby mountains.

The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Food is great and will bring you all the warmth that you need.

Among the best bavarian restaurants I've been to. We had a goulash as appetizer, then a Jägerlatein and a Schnitzel. All were great picks. Staff was very attentive and patient. There's a playground for kids.

This is a great traditional Bavarian restaurant. Food is very decently priced for Southern Bavaria. Service is great and friendly. Might speak English as well, haven't tried. Be sure to call ahead for a table reservation, the place could be packed especially in the evenings. Their specialty is smoked meat.

It is literally the best Bavarian restaurant I have ever been. Excellent service, amazing food, cozy atmosphere. Everything so original. I can’t wait to get back and try the grill dishes.

Great place, simple but fantastic food, by the all women team. Nice mix of guests, not too touristy, nice beer garden. Just a perfect no nonsense place. Geheimtipp!

TRUST US, we live here. This is one (of 3) of the best places to eat in town!! Great employees, great atmosphere, and good prices. The meats are amazing and the kartoffel mit Poute is amazing....

Really friendly and hard working staff, large rooms, great breakfast and nice sauna. Also games rooms for the kids. Nothing was too hard for this hotel and we had a great time
