Blaue Ecke Restaurant & Hotel in Adenau

If you are looking for a hotel that has well equipped rooms, a good restaurant, a breakfast buffet that serves more than you can wish for and has private parking then this is the place you want.

Other advantages: in walking distance of 'the ring', best pizzeria in town right across the street and best of all: it is in the middle of town.

I stayed here for one night. The staff was very friendly and helpful despite my inability to speak more than 10 words in German. Good beds and easy access to the Nurburgring (10 minutes?) Their parking area was a bit tight but it is in an enclosed area behind the hotel. I would stay here again.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times before, the rooms are a decent size for the area however beds aren't not the biggest and hotel doesn't have ac in the rooms. However the location in the centre of Adenau is ideal for visiting shops, restaurants and the Nurburgring. Food has come on massively over the last few years, this really is one of the best eateries in the area right now.

We ate dinner at this cozy place. Despite not having reserved a table on the evening of the Oldtimer Ralley at Nürburgring, we were lucky to get a table, after a small waiting time. We were offered a drink during the wiring time, but waited until we were seated. The staff was super friendly and had a smile despite the full house. The wine selection was small but good, including both a couple of local ones and a couple of internationals. Even though there was huge demand for tables, did we at no time have the feeling we had to rush and could stay until the late evening, enjoying the live music on the marker and the oldtimers parking in front from our seats. Overall a great experience, with the one missing star on the service being due to waiting time when asking for the bill eventually.

Perfect spot for a quick ring trip. Stayed two nights here and it was ideal. Good location, good food, good beer. Basic but clean and spacious room. Car park is small, I got a space on the Friday night but the rest of the weekend it was full so had to park elsewhere. Will book again as soon as I know the next time I’m out.

Fantastic place very close to Nurburgring, tidy rooms, fresh linen, good service, free wifi. The breakfast is superb! The management and staff is very customer friendly. we left the place early for business couple times and they made as sandwiches to eat! Nice food in the restaurant. If I visit Nurburgring again this is the only place I stay in!!!

Breakfast was good and the room was pretty ok! Recommend this! Good value for money!

The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, the food was fantastic and the local beer was ace. The room was very clean and comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay.

We only had restaurant reservation. Great location centrally in Adenau. Great for car spotting. Nice food.

I stayed here while driving the ring. It was an absolutely great place to stay, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Excellent location within Adenau, 20 minutes from the ring entrance, has an awesome breakfast, and the rooms are fantastic.
The only reason I only give the facilities a "very good" rating is the lack of parking. The parking is on a first come, first serve basis and on my second night had to park down the street. It was free parking, so not a big deal.
Blaue Ecke is great overall, and I plan to stay again.

Restaurant: great quality food and service. Good variety of drinks to choose from. Original choice of starters and desserts for the area.

Stopped over for some drinks on the town square (well, square, one might mistake it for a widened sidewalk, but let’s put that aside for now.)
Blaue Ecke has a nice terrace to do exactly that, thus we randomly selected a table - they all have a good view - and ordered the drinks we wanted.
They serve large sizes, very unlike the serving sizes we’re used to in The Netherlands, and the proce was right. Because of that, and the nice weather ofcourse, we ordered a few more rounds before continuing on our way.
Definitely recommend this place as a reststop!

Nice Hotel for a good price.
Free parking behind the building, but the entrance is pretty tight and space is pretty limited. If you drive 200 meters down the alley there is a Villa with 6 great parking spots with lots of space. If you have nice car and you want it to be safe, make sure you park it there, because these spots are there just for the hotel guests.

Wifi doesn't work so well and 4g is horrible but the flatscreen in the room has Netflix and Youtube.

If you skip dinner at the hotel and go to Italian restaurant Pinocchio in Adenau you can save yourself a good amount of money and have some real good dinner.

The breakfast was good, not too special, but fine. Coffee was way too strong.

This is a good place to go if you go to the nurburgring or just want to see Adenau.

You won't be disappointed. 👍🏻

Made a trip from Maine USA....traveled from Frankfurt to Munich then to Adenau for a day at the Ring....very nice. the host was very friendly...very good food...nice modern room...cool European shower, very clean. right in the village with a good restaurant right beside it...good beer, excellent steak and a really nice rock fountain out front on the cobblestone that you could sit and listen to for hours...parking very tight but would not hesitate to stay again Bonus we were there saturday night...Sunday Morning the church bells rang out for quite a while and echoed across the valley... awesome....quaint German village....I have about 6 minutes of video out my skylight window.....panoramic views and ding ding ding.......Germany...Tyler and I had a blast

Nice, clean, quiet and with lot of caracter, placed in the center of Adenau within reach of resturants and everything else you want to see / have.

Good European breakfast and own public resturant in same building.

Also just within a kilometer from where the Nurburg Ring passes through Adenau on a bridge ( great for spectators )

Plus is a free carpark on inner yard

Will absolutely stay here again

1st time staying here after spending a lot of time eating and drinking here over the years. Rooms were lovely, staff friendly, location great and the free parking in the courtyard a bonus :-)

Really really good food, service was great. Enjoyed the outdoor seating also.

Good clean room but no kettle or drink making facilities the bar staff were friendly but problems with beer taps meant people had to go elsewhere overall an ideal location
