Beautiful and fun for the whole family. Dog friendly and full of historical information in all the castle areas. Drop box at the door for the entrance fee. 2 euros to enter.

Been here 3 times over the last few years. Parking or location isn’t difficult to reach for those who don’t have problems walking. Park at the school and walk up the footpath. Or in our case I drove my mother up the hill and dropped her off. The road is the one with the church at the top. You do have to pay a little so have coin because sometimes the change machine doesn’t work. There is a place to eat but isn’t open year round. Don’t forget to walk down to the right when u first walk in the gate. Many stairs but cool view! The winter views are nice and so are summer views but the October views are the best!!!

What a treasure!! Difficult to find. Auto GPS drives you in circles. Google maps.. about the same. Had help from a terrific local resident. No parking anywhere near. ( super difficult!!) But once I arrived ... WOW!!! The views are magnificent!! One can see why the ancestors choose this space. 🏰

Great protected structure. You have to walk around 750m (a bit steep) to reach the place. 2 euro for adults, 1 euro for kids if you want to enter the castle.

King Ludwig beer and chip from the kiosk and a brilliant view well worth the walk beautiful scenery.

There are a lot of hidden places in this castle ruin so don't stop exploring.The views are spectacular and the people are friendly.

Eine Ruine aber dennoch schön erhalten und mit Infotafeln versehen. Es wird zwar ein Eintritt verlangt aber für die Erhaltung der historischen Gemäuer ist dieser fair.

Definitiv eine der schöneren Ruinen in der Gegend 😀.

Gerne in Verbindung mit der Pilgerstätte auf dem Rechberg verbinden oder eine kurze Einkehr im Restaurant oder Kiosk.
