Hotel Burgblick

I love this hotel. The view from the riverside rooms is unbeatable. Evenings I just watch the river flow and the medieval castle lightened...

The view of the river and the fort in Burghausen , Germany on one side and Austria on the other (we were on the Austrian side) is breathtaking and worth a holiday, even at -8 degrees brrrrrr. The food at the Post on the German side was great. Highly recommended, hotel Burgblick in Austria.

I love this hotel especially its location. My room faced the river and I could see the Bürghausen castle from my window.
I also did like that I could WALK into Germany and back to Austria using the bridge🙂. Breakfast at Hotel Burgblick was also good.
I surely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. Definitely book a room with view of the castle and if possible, plan to arrive before the spa closes, as it is simply stunning! The breakfast buffet could have more gluten free options, but I got by eating eggs, so it worked out for me.

Nice Hotel in a great location at the river. The view to the castle is amazing.
Also, the rooms to the other side are well designed. There are enough power outlets for charging devices (no USB).
Breakfast buffet is very good and the service personal is really friendly.
Walking distance to Burghausen old town.

Very nice location right beside Germany - Austria border. The breakfast buffet is good (8/10) but there are not so many choices. The room is almost perfect. My room has perfect window view looking at the river side.

I stayed in March 2018. This is a beautiful hotel. Very clean and well maintained. The breakfast is delicious and fresh. The staff aare helpful and spoke English well. The views over the water were very nice and I enjoyed hearing the church bells. The location was perfect for visiting the old city of Burghausen, it was a nice 10 minute walk through Ach and over the bridge. From there, you can pay €1.20 to take the bus up the hill to the newer city with more shops/restaurants. Or you could walk up to the castle for some touristing and nice views. It was fairly quiet in March, but I'm sure it's filled with tourists in the summer.

This hotel is really amazing! The view is awesome and the rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast is also good. Maybe better coming with a car because there is no restaurant close by.

Hotel is beautiful. Rooms are quite comfortable and spacious. There is a spa sauna but i never used it. Breakfast is delicious. Service is good.

everyday spa! very friendly staff, clean rooms, has parking, served breakfast, but restaurant not open for lunch or dinner when I went, no problem because you can easily cross to Burghausen for lunch and dinner.

The view is fantastic so I would strongly suggest to get a room on the river side. The staff is very friendly as well.
